«Եվրատեսիլ-2016»-ը եվրատեսիլյան պատմության մեջ հայերի համար նշանավորվեց որպես ամենաքննարկվողն ու սկանդալայինը: Իվետան զարմացրեց իր ձայնով, տեսքով ու համարձակ քայլով՝ կիսաեզրափակչում ծածանելով ԼՂՀ դրոշը: Այս թեման դեռեւս շարունակվում է թեժ քննարկումների կիզակետում մնալ, որի մասին Life.panorama.am-ը զրուցել է երգչուհի եւ պատգամավոր Շուշան Պետրոսյանի հետ.

«Իվետան առաջին կիսաեզրափակչում ուղղակի հրաշալի ելույթ ունեցավ եւ վաղը եզրափակչում մեր երգչուհուն կրկին լավ ելույթից բացի ոչ մի բանի մասին պետք է չմտածի, քանի որ երգչուհուն ելույթից առաջ սթրես ապրել պետք չէ: Այդ հարցում իրենց դերակատարությունը կարող են ունենալ շվեդական հայ համայնքը, ովքեր կարող են Իվետայի փոխարեն բարձրաձայնել մեր խնդիրների մասին: Ի վերջո, եթե արգելում են ցուցադրել Արցախի դրոշը, մենք ունենք շատ այլ աղմկարար միջոցներ ադրբեջանցու վանդալիզմը ցուցադրելու համար: Նույն  շվեդական համայնքը կարող է այս հարցն իր վրա վերցնել եւ վաղը բարձրացնել մեր Գուրգեն Մարգարյանի նկարները, վստաահ եմ՝ շատերին կհետաքրքրի, թե ով է այդ հրաշք արծիվը, էլ չեմ ասում, որ հայ համայնքը կարող է ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի զոհերի լուսանկարներով ներկայանալ այդ մրցույթին: Իսկ Իվետա Մուկուչյանը ինչ պետք էր, արդեն արել է, նա իր ուժեղ կամային տեսակով հրաշալի ելույթ ունեցավ ու բարձրացրեց Արցախի դրոշը եւ այսօր իր մեջքին կանգնած է ողջ հայությունը»,- նշեց ՀՀ վաստակավոր արտիստն ու հավելեց.

«Խնդիրը նրանում է, որ եթե Ուկրաինայի ներկայացուցիչը կարող է երգի միջոցով բարձրացնել իր երկրի խնդիրն այն դեպքում, երբ անցյալ տարի այս մրցույթում արգելեցին ու ստիպեցին մեր «Genealogy» խմբին փոխել երգի բառերը, ուրեմն անպատկառությանը պետք է պատասխանել անպատկառությամբ»:
