ՍՊԾ դիտացանցը մայիսի 12-ից մինչև 18-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածքում 3 բալ և ավելի ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժ չի գրանցել: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին «ՍՊԾ» գործակալությունից:

Տարածաշրջանում 3 բալ և ավելի ուժգնությամբ գրանցվել է 5 երկրաշարժ: Մայիսի 13-ին 3 բալ (մագնիտուդ 2.3) և 15-ին 4 բալ ուժգնությամբ (մագնիտուդ 3.2) երկրաշարժեր են տեղի ունեցել Իրանում՝ Թավրիզ քաղաքից 43 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք: Մայիսի 14-ին 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ (մագնիտուդ 2.3) երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել Թուրքիայում՝ Վան քաղաքից 51 կմ դեպի արևելք: Մայիսի 16-ին նույն ուժգնությամբ (մագնիտուդ 2.5) ստորգետնյա ցնցում է տեղի ունեցել Իգդիր քաղաքից 18 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևելք: Մայիսի 18-ին Վրաստանի Ախալցխա քաղաքից 6 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք գտնվող էպիկենտրոնով երկրաշարժի ուժգնությունն էր 4 բալ (մագնիտուդ 3.0):

Տարածաշրջանից դուրս 6.0 և ավելի մագնիտուդով գրանցվել է 2 երկրաշարժ: Մայիսի 18-ին 6.7 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել Էկվադորում՝ Ռոսա-Սարատե քաղաքից 24 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևմուտք, որին ժամեր անց հետևել է երկրորդ երկրաշարժը 6.9 մագնիտուդով: Երկրաշարժերի հետևանքով զոհվել է 1 մարդ, տուժել 85-ը, մի քանի բնակավայրերում ընդհատվել է էլեկտրամատակարարումը:
