Լիբանանի Անտոնին համալսարանում մայիսի 20-ին կազմակերպվել էր Հայաստանին նվիրված օր: Միջոցառման մեկնարկից առաջ Հայ կաթողիկե պատրիարքական փոխանորդ, Բեյրութի թեմի առաջնորդ Գևորգ եպս. Ասատուրյանի կողմից համալսարանի տարածքում գործող եկեղեցում մատուցվեց պատարագ: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Միջոցառման մասնակիցներին և լիբանանահայությանը տեսաուղերձով դիմեց ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանը: Ցուցադրվեցին տեսանյութեր Հայաստանի, հայ եկեղեցու և մշակույթի, ինչպես նաև տարբեր բնագավառներում համաշխարհային ճանաչում վայելող հայ գործիչների մասին:
Ելույթներով հանդես եկան Հայկազյան համալսարանի նախագահ Փոլ Հայդոստյանը և Լիբանանի խորհրդարանի անդամ Հակոբ Բագրատունին:

Եզրափակիչ ելույթով հանդես եկավ Լիբանանում ՀՀ դեսպան Սամվել Մկրտչյանը: Դեսպանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց կազմակերպիչներին՝ շեշտելով նմանատիպ միջոցառումների անցկացման կարևորությունը, ինչը լավ առիթ է ընձեռնում սեփական երկիրն ու ժողովուրդը ներկայացնելու համար: Դեսպանն անդրադարձավ հայ ժողովրդի պատմությանը, սեփական ինքնության պահպանման համար մղված պայքարին, Արցախի գոյամարտին և նորօրյա անկախ Հայաստանի արձանագրած հաջողություններին: Դեսպան Մկրտչյանը հույս հայտնեց, որ այսօրինակ միջոցառումները շարունակական բնույթ կստանան։ Նա անդրադարձավ Լիբանանի հայ համայնքի դերակատարությանը, երկրի քաղաքական, հասարակական և մշակութային կյանքում ունեցած ներդրմանը, ինչպես նաև ազգային ինքնության պահպանման ուղղությամբ ձեռնարկվող քայլերին:

Միջոցառման ավարտին դեսպանը շրջայց կատարեց համալսարանի տարածքում ներկայացված տաղավարներում, ծանոթացավ ցուցադրվող ավանդական ասեղնագործության նմուշներին:
