Շվեյցարական Բեռն քաղաքում շարունակվում է սպորտային մարմնամարզության Եվրոպայի առաջնությունը: Մայիսի 26-ին մրցասպարեզ դուրս եկան մեծահասակները։

Առաջին անգամ Հայաստանի մարմնամարզության տղամարդկանց հավաքականը Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում մասնակցեց նաև թիմային պայքարին։ Մեր ընտրանու կազմում էին Արթուր Դավթյանը, Արթուր Թովմասյանը,Վահագն Դավթյանը, Հարություն Մերդինյանը և Արմեն Պետրոսյանը։ Հայաստանի հավաքականը ընդգրկված էր առաջին ենթախմբում և պայքարը սկսեց առավոտյան մրցահերթում, որտեղ մեր ընտրանու անմիջական մրցակիցներն էին Իսրայելի, Շվեդիայի, Հունգարիայի, Լեհաստանի, Լատվիայի, Ավստրիայի և Ադրբեջանի հավաքականները։ Հայաստանի հավաքականը ընդհանուր հաշվարկով հավաքեց 248․702 միավոր և իր ենթախմբում գրավեց առաջին տեղը, իսկ թիմային պայքարում 28 երկրների մեջ զբաղեցրեց 12-րդ հորիզոնականը՝ առաջատար Ռուսաստանին զիջելով 19.023 միավոր: Եզրափակչին մասնակցելու իրավունք ստացան առաջին 8 հորիզոնականները զբաղեցրած երկրները։

Առանձին գործիքների պայքարում Հայաստանի հավաքականն ունի եզրափակչի 3 մասնակից։ Նժույգթափերի վարժության որակավորման փուլում աշխարհի առաջնության բրոնզե մեդալակիր Հարություն Մերդինյանը հավաքեց 15․491 միավոր և զբաղեցնելով 2-րդ տեղը՝ դուրս եկավ եզրափակիչ: Մերդինյանն ընդամենը 0․342 միավորով զիջեց աշխարհի առաջնության արծաթե մեդալակիր բրիտանացի Լուիս Սմիթին։

Օղակների վարժությունում Վահագն Դավթյանը, հավաքելով 15.566 միավոր, զբաղեցրեց 4-րդ հորիզոնականը և իրավունք ստացավ մասնակցելու եզրափակչին։ Այս վարժությունում մեր մյուս ներկայացուցիչ Արթուր Թովմասյանին շատ քիչ չբավարարեց եզրափակիչ դուրս գալու համար։ Որակավորման փուլում նա 6.700 բարդություն ունեցող վարժության կատարման համար ստացավ 8.666 գնահատական, իսկ բելգիացին Դենիս Գուսենսը՝ 6․600 բարդության վարժության համար 8.766 գնահատական: Արդյուքում երկուսն էլ հավաքեցին 15.366 միավոր, սակայն մրցավարները եզրափակչում հանդես գալու հնարավորություն տվեցին բելգիացի մարզիկին:

Եզրափակչում մեր երրորդ մասնակիցը Արթուր Դավթյանն է, ով հենցատկում հավաքելով 15․183 միավոր՝ զբաղեցրեց 3-րդ հորզոնականը և իրավունք ստացավ մասնակցելու մայիսին 29-ին կայանալիք եզրափակչին։

Բազմամարտում հանդես եկած Արմեն Պետրոսյանն էլ 29 մարզիկների մեջ գրավեց 14-րդ հորիզոնականը ՝ 80․ 240 միավոր արդյունքով։
