 Չեխիայի նախագահ Միլոշ Զեմանը մտադիր է երկրի կառավարությանն ու խորհրդարանին կոչ անել՝ հետեւելու գերմանական օրինակին եւ պաշտոնապես ճանաչելու 1915-1918 թթ. թուրքերի կողմից իրականացված Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը։ Այս մասին, ինչպես փոխանցում է եվրոպական անկախ «Օրեր» ամսագրի խմբագրությունը, Զեմանը նշել է չեխական «Պառլամենտնի լիստի» օնլայն թերթին տված հարցազրույցում:  

«Ես իմ տեսակետը հայտնել եմ դեռեւս 2014 թվականին, երբ իմ հրավերով Պրահայում էր Հայաստանի նախագահը, նշել եմ, որ 1915 թվականի կոտորածները ցեղասպանություն է։ Ու քանի որ մյուս շաբաթ միասին մեկնելու ենք Հայաստան, դա ես կկրկնեմ»,- ասել է նա։

«Բայց պետք է նաեւ հաջորդ քայլը անել, եւ ես պետք է Հայաստանից վերադառնալուց հետո դիմեմ Չեխիայի կառավարությանը, ինչպես նաեւ խորհրդարանին՝ կոչ անելով հետեւելու Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի օրինակին։ Բայց ոչ միայն Գերմանիայի կամ միայն Ֆրանսիայի օրինակին, որտեղ ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը նույնիսկ օրենքով են ամրագրել, այլեւ Ռուսաստանի, Լեհաստանի, Սլովակիայի, Իտալիայի եւ այլ պետությունների, որովհետեւ կարծում եմ, որ այս բնագավառում մենք հետ ենք մնում»,-ասել է նախագահ Զեմանը՝ նշելով նաեւ, որ այդ մասին խոսելու է արտգործնախարար Լյուբոմիր Զաորա լեկի հետ Հայաստանից վերադառնալուց հետո։
