Сначала создается новая страница человека, куда копируется вся информация и реальные фотографии. Затем мошенники добавляют в друзья всех пользователей из списка контактов жертвы. Люди, увидев знакомое лицо, смело добавляют человека в друзья, полагая, что его старую страницу просто взломали.

Программисты предупреждают: прежде чем добавлять такого пользователя в друзья, тебе следует убедиться, что это действительно второй аккаунт твоего родственника или знакомого.

Таким образом, отправляя сообщения с различными просьбами, мошенники имеют возможность узнать о тебе личную информацию. Часто они просят в долг деньги, разумеется, отдавать их никто не собирается.

Чтобы обезопасить себя от обмана в интернете, следует ограничить доступ к своей странице. Поменяй настройки таким образом, чтобы только друзья могли просматривать твою личную информацию и фотографии. Также необходимо ограничить доступ к списку своих друзей, для этого открой вкладку «Друзья» и в строке «Кто может видеть список ваших друзей?» выбери «Друзья».
