 Արդեն 8-րդ տարին Էրեբունի ամրոցում, հատկապես Խալդի տաճարի շրջակայքում պեղումներ իրականացնող հայ-ֆրանսիական հնագիտական արշավախումբը պեղել է Երեւանի ամենահին փողոցը: Արշավախմբի հայկական կողմի ղեկավար, Էրեբունի թանգարանի գիտաշխատող Միքայել Բադալյանը «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ պեղումների հիմնական նպատակը տեղեկությունների հավաքագրումն է ուրարտականից  դեպի հե տուրարտական անցումային շրջանի մասին: «Դեռեւս 9 օր է, ինչ սկսել ենք աշխատել, այդ փողոցն ենք մաքրում: Մեր ֆրանսիացի գործընկերներն այդ հատվածում պետք է աշխատեն, որպեսզի ավելի լավ պատկերացում ունենանք թե՛ այդ երկրաշարժի, թե՛ ընդհանուր պատկերի մասին: Փողոցը շատ հետաքրքիր խճահատակով արված փողոց է: Նման փողոց ուրարտական այլ հուշարձաններում կարծես թե մենք դեռ չենք պեղել: Եթե Էրեբունին համարում ենք Երեւանի օրրանը, ապա գործ ունենք հին Երեւանի ամենահին փողոցի հետ»,-նշեց նա:

«Դա մի շատ կարեւոր փուլ է մեր պատմության, հնագիտության համար: Վերջին 2 տարիների ընթացքում սկսել ենք բացել ուրարտական փողոց հետաքրքիր խճահատակով: Ուշագրավն այն է, որ ֆիքսվել են ընդհուպ երկրաշարժի հետքեր, որոնք, ըստ երեւույթին, թվագրվում են մինչեւ մ.թ.ա 7-րդ դարի առաջին կեսը: Այդ երկրաշարժը հնարավոր է՝ մեզ որոշակի բացատրություն տա, թե ինչու կառուցվեց ուրարտական  Թեյշեբաինի կամ  Կարմիր բլուր քաղաքը, քանի որ ինչպես գիտենք, շատ իրեր Էրեբունուց տեղափոխվել են Կարմիր բլուր եւ գուցե հենց այդ երկրաշարժն էր պատճառը»,-ասաց Միքայե լ Բադալյանը:

Գիտաշխատողը տեղեկացրեց, որ այս տարվա աշխատանքները դեռ նախնական փուլում են, մի քանի օրից հնարավոր կլինի ավելի հստակ տվյալներ հաղորդել:
