Ավելի քան 1 մլն մարդ միացել է հայցապահանջին, ըստ որի, պետք է վերանայվեն ԵՄ-ից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալու հանրաքվեի արդյունքները: Այս մասին հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` հղում կատարելով «Ռիա Նովոստի»-ին: Հայցապահանջը տեղադրված է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի խորհրդարանի կայքում: Այն արդեն ստորագրել է ավելի քան 1 մլն մարդ, բայց հայցապահանջի քննարկման համար պահանջվում է 100 հազար ստորագրություն:

«Մենք կոչ ենք անում կառավարությանը կիրառել այն կարգը, համաձայն որի` 75 տոկոսից քիչ մասնակցության դեպքում, եթե կողմ կամ դեմ քվերակողների թիվը կազմել է ավելի պակաս, քան 60 տոկոսը, ապա պետք է անցկացվի ևս մեկ հանրաքվե»,-ասված է հայցապահանջի տեքստում:

Ավելի վաղ change.org կայքում տեղադրված էր հայցապահանջը, որին միացած քաղաքացիները խնդրում էին Լոնդոնը համարել Մեծ Բրիտանիայից անկախ և միանալ Եվրամիությանը: Հայցապահանջը, որին միացել էր 118 հազար քաղաքացի, ուղղված է եղել Լոնդոնի քաղաքապետին:

Հունիսի 23-ին Մեծ Բրիտանիայում անցկացվել է հանրաքվե Եվրամիության անդամակցության հարցի վերաբերյալ: Պաշտոնական տվյալների համաձայն, Եվրամիությունից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալուն կողմ է քվերակել մասնակիցների 51.9 տոկոսը:  Մեծ Բրիտանաիայի վարչապետ Դեյվիդ Քեմերոնը, ով կոչ էր անում մնալ Եվրամիության կազմում, որոշել է հոկտեմբերին հրաժարական տալ: Նա հաջորդ վարչապետին է թողնում ժողովորդի կամարտահայտմանը հետևելու իրավունքին:
