 Մայր Աթոռի Սուրբ Տրդատ բաց խորանում մեկնարկել է Սուրբ պատարագը, որը մատուցում է Ամենայն Հայոց Գարեգին Բ կաթողիկոսը Սրբազան քահանայապետ Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապի հաղորդակցությամբ: Աշխարհի տարբեր ծագերից Էջմիածին են ժամանել ուխտավորներ` մասնակցելու պատարագին:

Մայր Աթոռում տեղի կունենան մի շարք այլ միջոցառումներ, որից հետո Սրբազան քահանայապետը և Վեհափառ Հայրապետը կայցելեն հայ ժողովրդի և Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ եկեղեցու համար կարևորագույն սրբավայրերից մեկը՝ Խոր Վիրապ, որտեղ միասին աղոթելուց հետո աղավնիներ բաց կթողնեն Արարատի ուղղությամբ և դրանով պաշտոնական ծրագիրը կավարտվի: Սրբազան քահանայապետը կմեկնի օդանավակայան` Հռոմ վերադառնալու համար:

Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապը Հայաստան է ժամանել հունիսի 24-ին Երևանի ժամանակով 15:00-ին` «Այց առաջին քրիստոնեական երկիր» խորագրով: «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանից Պապն ուղևորվել է Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին, մասնակցել Բարիգալստի Հրաշափառի արարողությանը: Հռոմի Պապն ու Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսը Սուրբ խորանից աղոթք ու քարոզ են հնչեցրել: Պապը հյուրընկալվել է ՀՀ նախագահի նստավայրում, առանձնազրույց ունեցել նրա հետ, ելույթ ունեցել ՀՀ իշխանությունների, հասարակության, դիվանագիտական կորպուսի ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպմանը:

Հունիսի 25-ին Հռոմի Սրբազան Քահանայապետ Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապն այցելել է Ծիծեռնակաբերդ՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին նվիրված հուշահամալիր, ծաղկեպսակ է դրել հուշակոթողին և աղոթել: Հռոմի Պապը ՀՀ Նախագահի և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի հետ այնուհետև ծաղիկներ է խոնարհել անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող անմար կրակի մոտ, որտեղ հոգևոր դասը կատարել է Բարեխոսական կարգի արարողություն՝ հայցելով այլևս սրբադասված նահատակների բարեխոսությունը: Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապն այցելել է Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիրի Հիշողությունների պուրակ՝ օրհնել իր անվամÕ ¢ տնկված եղևնին, որից հետո գրառում է կատարել Հայոց Ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի պատվո այցելուների գրքում: ՊապըԳյումրիում պատարագ է մատուցել լատինական ծեսով` համեմված հայկական շարականներով: Պատարագից հետո Հռոմի պապը` հրավիրելով Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսին իր պապոմոբիլ, շրջել է հրապարակում, ողջունել հավաքվածներին, ապա իջել, մի քանի րոպե էլ հետիոտն շփվել հավատացյալների հետ և մեկնել Անարատ Հղության Հայ քույրերի միա բանության «Տիրամայր Հայաստանի» կուսանոց, այցելել Յոթ վերք եկեղեցի:
