Հռոմի պապը ոչ միան բարոյական կերպարով է շատ հզոր, այլ նաեւ տեսականորեն է հզոր: Այս մասին այսօր հրավիրված մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ, անդրադառնալով Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապի՝ Հայաստան այցելությանը, ասաց քաղաքագետ Լեւոն Շիրինյանը: Ըստ նրա՝ Հռոմի պապի հայաստանյան այցը քրիստոնեական վերածննդի քայլ էր:

«Այո´, սա քրիստոնեական վերածննդի քայլ է, Մասիսյանց երկրում՝ Նոյյան տապանի կողքին: Իհարկե, այս այցի մեջ կա նաեւ աշխարհաքաղաքական ենթատեքստ, քանի որ Հռոմի պապը դժվար թե հենց այնպես քայլ անի: Նրա այս քայլը կարելի է բացատրել նաեւ Արեւելքում քրիստոնեական երկրի նկատմամբ նրա հոգատարությամբ: Եթե ուշադիր լինենք, Հռոմի պապի խոսքում դավանագիտական խոսք չկար»,- նկատեց նա ՝ հավելելով, թե մենք համաշխարհային եկեղեցական պատմության մեջ չենք դավաճանել մեր կրոնը:

«Սա մի բան է, որը բարձրացնում է քրիստոնեական վիճակն ավելի լուսավոր կետի»,- ասաց նա:

Անդրադառնալով նաեւ ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական խնդրին ու քառօրյա պատերազմին՝ քաղաքագետը նշեց. «Ամեն հայ պետք է հասկանա, որ Ադրբեջանը հյուծման պատերազմ է վարում Հայաստանի հետ: Այդ իսկ պատճառով նա բանակին առաջարկում է սեփական ազգային տեսակետ ունենալ: Բլից-կրիգը մենք պետք է անենք, ոչ թե իրենք: Մենք պետք է հարձակվենք, ու Ադրբեջանը պետք է վերանա: Այս սերնդի առումով ես կասկած չունեմ: Ոչ մեկի քրիստոնեական կերպարը չի խանգարելու նպատակին հասնելու համար, մենք պետք է հասնենք Քուռ-Արաքսյան հատված: Մեր տեակետն արդարացի է: Կա´մ մենք չենք լինելու կա´մ Ադրբեջանը, ու կարող եմ ասել, որ Ադրբեջանը չի լինելու»,- ասաց նա:

Քաղաքագետը վստահեցնում է՝ կա´մ պետք է հարձակվել Ադրբեջանի վրա կա´մ Ղարաբաղյան խնդրում մենք տանուլ ենք տալու:

«Ես կարծրացրել եմ իմ տեսակետը՝ մենք Ադրբեջանի հետ փոխզիջման չպետք է գնանք: Դա պայմանավորված է նրանով, որ մենք չենք կարող ձնագունդը կանգնեցնել, ու մենք տակ կտանք: Մենք կոնֆլիկտը սրելու կարիք ունենք, այլապես այսպես կվերանանք-կգնանք: Հյուծման պատերազմը ստոր տեսակետ է, որը տվյալ պետությունն իրականացնում է: Հայաստանը ԼՂՀ-ի հետ պետք է իրավիճակը ճիշտ գնահատի ու հարձակում իրականացնի Ադրբեջանի վրա»,- ասաց քաղաքագետը: Նա զարմանալի ու անգամ անհասկանալի բնորոշեց քառօրյա պատերազմի դադարեցման հրամանը, որով կասեցվեցին ռազմական գործողությունները, քանի որ այդ հրամանը տրվեց Ալիեւին փրկելու համար:
