Ազգային ժողովի ՀՅԴ խմբակցության ղեկավար Արմեն Ռուստամյանը պատասխանել է որոշ պատգամավորների քննադատությանը՝ կապված քաղաքական համաձայնության արդյունքում ընտրական օրենսգրքում առաջարկվող փոփոխությունների հետ: Իր ելույթում Արմեն Ռուստամյանը կոչ արեց դադարեցնել անհիմն քննադատելու ոճը: «Ես ցանկանում եմ, որ մենք իսկապես հասկանանք, որ սա բերելու է նրան, որ մենք պտուղը պտղաջրի հետ թափենք: Ես հասկանում եմ, որ կան մարդիկ, ովքեր պտուղը պտղաջրից չեն տարբերում կամ կարող են գույներն այնքան խտացնել, որ դրանք խառնվեն միմյանց հետ, դառնան մի զանգված: Կան մարդիկ, ովքեր այդ պտղաբերությանը չեն մասնակցել, իրենց ձեռք չի տալիս, որ այդ պտուղը լինի, որովհետև իրենց քաղաքական շահը ենթադրում է, որ ամեն ինչ պետք է վատը լինի: Կան այդպիսի մարդիկ, որ իրենց քաղաքական պլատֆորմը կառուցել են նրա վրա, որ ամեն ինչ պետք է վատ լինի, իսկ եթե մի լավ բան եղավ, դա կփլուզի իրենց ծրագրերը»,- նշեց Ռուստամյանը:

Ռուստամյանն ընդգծեց, որ աննախադեպ է համարում ընտրական օրենսգրքում փոփոխությունների շուրջ ընդդիմադիր և իշխանական  ուժերի քաղաքական համաձայնության հասնելու գործընթացը:  «Մենք երկարատև աշխատել ենք և այս աշխատանքի վերջում հանգել լուրջ արդյունքի: Այդ արդյունքը պետք է փայփայել: Համաձայնության են եկել 5 քաղաքական ուժերի լեգիտիմ ներկայացուցիչներ, համաձայնության են եկել ընտրական օրենսգրքի շուրջ, որը քաղաքական ուժերի հարաբերություններում հանդիսանում է սահմանադրության նման մի բան: Մենք լրջագույն հաջողությունը ցանկանում ենք ոտքի տակ տալ: Լավ, այսպես մինչև ո՞ւր ենք պատրաստվում գնալ: Իսկ ո՞վ է ասում, որ բոլոր լուծումները պետք է կատարյալ լինեն, որ բոլորը կանգնեն ողջունեն: Կատարյալ լուծումներ չեն լինում»,- ասաց Արմեն Ռուստամյանը:

Անդրադառնալով քաղաքական համաձայնության արդյունքում ընտրական օրենսգրքում առաջարկվող փոփոխությունները կյանքի կոչելու ֆինանսավորման խնդիրներին ՝ Ռուստամյանն ընդգծեց, որ բազմաթիվ կառույցներ, որոնց անդամակցել է Հայաստանը, ֆինանսական աջակցության բազմաթիվ ֆոնդեր են ստեղծել, որոնցից կարելի է օգտվել: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ եթե անգամ չլինեն այդ ֆինանսները, այս գործընթացն արդեն իր արդյունքները տվել է: Մենք աննախադեպ հաջողության ենք հասել, մի համաձայնության ենք հասել, որի տակ ստորագրել է խորհրդարանական 5 քաղաքական ուժ»,- եզրափակե ց Ռուստամյանը:
