Հայոց բանակի սպա, 2016 թվականին հայրենիքի սահմանները պաշտպանելիս հերոսաբար զոհված Արմենակ Ուրֆանյանին վաշտի հրամանատարի պաշտոնում փոխարինած Ալեքսանդր Հովսեփյանը հպարտ ու պարտավորված է զգում իրեն, որ շարունակելու է նույնքան հերոսական վաշտի ղեկավարումը եւ իր զոհված ընկերոջ ու նրա զինվորների ազգանվեր գործը: Ինչպես թիվ 116 մարտակա ն դիրքում՝ ծառայության վայրում,«Արմենպրես»-ին հայտնեց կապիտան Ալեքսանդր Հովսեփյանը, վաշտի զինվորները Ապրիլյան հերոսամարտից հետո ավելի են բարձրացրել իրենց զգոնությունն ու պատասխանատվությունը եւ իրենց զինված ծառայակիցների սխրանքը, փառքն ու հայրենի հողի սահմանները պաշտպանելու համար տրամադրված են վճռականորեն: «Ես առավել մեծ պատասխանատվություն եմ զգում, սուրբ պարտականություն, քանի որ շարունակում եմ հերոս մարտիկի ու հրամանատարի գործը, հրամանատար, ով իր կյ անքի գնով կանգնեցրեց թշնամու բազմամարդ բանակը՝ կես քայլ անգամ  չնահանջելով: Այդ նվիրումը հիմա պետք է շարունակի մեր վաշտը, որպեսզի անմահ մնան ոչ միայն Ուրֆանյանի եւ իր զինվորների անունը, այլեւ հավերժ կանգուն լինի մեր հայրենիքը, այն մարտական հենակետը, որ քաջաբար պահեցին մեր տղաները, այն ոգին, որ կրում է հայ զինվորը: Մենք պետք է ավելի կատարելագործենք մեր պաշտպանությունը, ռազմական գիտելիքները, անխախտ պահենք մեր դիրքերը: Այդպիսի պատգամ են թողել մեզ մեր զոհված ընկերները, որը պետք է կատարենք սրբորեն, ինչն էլ կլինի նրանց հավերժության գրավակա նը»,-նշեց  Ալեքսանդր Հովսեփյանը:
