Ապրիլյան պատերազմը ցնցեց ողջ հայությանը: Այդ օրերին ԵԿՄ-ի ԱՄՆ - ի ներկայացուցչության ղեկավար Սամվել Ֆրանկլյանի ղեկավարությամբ անհատ բարերարները առանց վարանելու մեծ գումարներ են ներդրել` անհրաժեշտ աջակցություն ցուցաբերելու հայրենիքի սահմանները պաշտպանողներին:

Այժմ հարգարժան անհատները մայրաքաղաքում են: ԵԿՄ վարչության նախագահ Մանվել Գրիգորյանը ընդունեց նրանց, ապա շնորհակալական խոսքերից հետո պատվոգրեր հանձնեց հայանպաստ գործունեության համար: Ամենից հուզիչն այն պահն էր, երբ հետմահու պարգևատրվեց նաև 1990 - ականներին արցախյան պատերազմում զոհված ազատամարտիկ Հովհաննես Փանոսյանը, ում որդին ու թոռը՝ Արթուր և Սերոժ Փանոսյանները գեներով անցած արյան կանչով նույնպես քաջասիրտ զինվորի կողքին են:

 

Ամերիկաբնակ Արթուր Փանոսյանը պարբերաբար այցելում է Հայաստան ու ամեն անգամ նրա ուշադրության կենտրոնում են լինում կարիքի մեջ ապրող ընտանիքները: Անհայր մանկություն ապրած Արթուրը հայրական հոգատարությամբ ու հատուկ վերաբերմունքով է հաղորդակցվում մանավանդ սոցիալապես անապահով երեխաների հետ:
