Կոմեդոնները կամ սև կետերը կարող են գլխացավանք դառնալ ոչ միայն դեռահասների, այլ նաև հասուն անձանց համար: Դրանք այդքան տհաճ տեսք չունեն ինչպես բշտիկները, բայց դրանցից ազատվելն ավելի դժվար է: Սակայն մինչ բուժումը սկսելը, անհրաժեշտ է գտնել դրանց առաջացման պատճառները:

Հորմոնալ դիսբալանսը (անցումային տարիք, հղիություն, որոշ դեղամիջոցների ընդունում) նույնպես կարող է դառնալ սև կետերի առաջացման պատճառ: Եթե նկատվում է մաշկի վիճակի կտրուկ վատացում, անհրաժեշտ է խորհրդակցել բժշկի հետ:

Բացի այդ, նման տհաճ երևույթները կարող են լինել նաև վատ ու անորակ կոսմետիկ միջոցների հետևանքով: Ավելի լավ կլինի նման միջոցները գնելիս ընտրել ստուգված արտադրողի ապրանքը, քանի որ լավ կոսմետիկան ոչ միայն չի վնասում, այլև շատ ավելի գեղեցիկ է դիտվում: Սակայն պետք չէ մոռանալ, որ որքան էլ լավը լինեն կոսմետիկ միջոցները, շպարն անհրաժեշտ է լավ մաքրել՝ թույլ տալով մաշկին գիշերը շնչել:
