Ամերիկացին իրեն ամեն օր օձի թույն է ներարկում՝ 28 տարի շարունակ

The Guardian-ն անդրադարձել է ինքն իրեն օձի թույն ներարկող ամերիկացի Սթիվ Լուդվինի արտասովոր պատմությունը: 

«Ինձ համար դա սուրճ ըմպելու պես մի բան է, դա էներգիայի աղբյուր է: Ես 13 տարի ընդհանրապես չեմ հիվանդացել», - ասել է ամերիկացին` պատմելով, որ օձերով հետաքրքրվել է շատ փոքր տարիքից:  Նա սկսել է օձեր նկարել 3 տարեկանից, իսկ առաջին սողունին որսացել է 5 տարեկանում, որից հետո իր «որսն» անընդհատ տուն էր բերում:

Ինչպես Լուդվինն է հայտնել` ծնողները նրան 10 տարեկանում թույլ են տվել պահել իր առաջին վիշապօձը: Հայրը նրան տարել է Մայամիի օձաբուծարան, որի աշխատակիցը, քամելով կոբրայի թույնը, ներարկում էր ինքն իրեն: Նա ապրել է 100 տարի: 

Այժմ փորձարկումների հերթն արդեն Լուդվինինն էր: Առաջին անգամ ինքն իրեն վիշապօձի թույն ներարկել է 22 տարեկանում, որից հետո դա անում է մի քանի օրը մեկ:

50-ամյա տղամարդը, ով ներկայում բնակվում է Լոնդոնում, 18 օձ է պահում` որոշները թունավոր, որոշները` ոչ: Իսկ թույն նա քամում է բոժոժավոր օձից և երկու իժից:
