Ինֆորմացիոն տեխնոլոգիաների ձեռնարկությունների միության (ԻՏՁՄ) նախաձեռնության և Ucom աջակցության շնորհիվ՝ «Արմաթ» ինժեներական խմբակ-լաբորատորիաների բացման շքերթը հասավ նաև Արարատ և Վայոց Ձոր: «Արմաթ» խմբակ-լաբորատորիաներ են արդեն գործում Երասխի, Ելփինի, Արենիի, Գետափի, Շատինի միջնակարգ դպրոցներում, Վայքի ավագ դպրոցում, Մալիշկայի թիվ 1 միջնակարգ դպրոցում և Եղեգնաձորի թիվ 1 ու թիվ 2 հիմնական դպրոցներում:

Նշենք, որ ԻՏՁՄ-ի և Ucom ընկերության միջև ստորագրված համագործակցության հուշագրի համաձայն՝ Ucom ընկերությունը ներդրումներ է կատարում, որպեսզի Հայաստանի 9 մարզերում բացվեն «Արմաթ» անվանումը կրող շուրջ 70 ինժեներական խմբակ-լաբորատորիաներ։ Նախագիծը նպատակ ունի խթանելու տեխնոլոգիական կրթությունը Հայաստանի համայնքների բոլոր դպրոցներում, նպաստելու աշակերտների մոտ ժամանակակից բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների նկատմամբ հետաքրքրության առաջացմանը, վաղ տարիքից ճարտարագիտական մտածելակերպի զարգացմանը և բանիմաց ուսանողների նախապատրաստմանը։

«Արմաթ» ինժեներական խմբակ-լաբորատորիաներում մշակված ծրագրային փաթեթները, ինչպես նաև սարքավորումների գծագրերը բաց են հանրության համար։ Խմբակ-լաբորատորիաների համար ծրագրային միջոցներ ձեռք բերելիս նախապատվություն է տրվում տեղական արտադրողին, ինչի վառ օրինակ են հանդիսանում Հայաստանում արտադրված բարձրակարգ եռաչափ (3D) տպիչները, մինի համակարգիչները, ռոբոտաշինության հավաքածուները և այլ սարքերը։

ԻՏՁՄ գործադիր տնօրեն Կարեն Վարդանյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ առաջիկայում «Արմաթի» աշակերտները նորաստեղծ ընկերություններ կհիմնեն ու կաջակցեն իրենց ընտանիքի և համայնքի զարգացմանը:
