ԱՄՆ-ն ներդրել է 9.8 մլն դոլար ՀՀ ԱՆ հիվանդությունների վերահսկման և կանխարգելման ազգային կենտրոնի կառուցման համար

 Տեղի ունեցավ ՀՀ ԱՆ հիվանդությունների վերահսկման և կանխարգելման ազգային կենտրոնի և ՀՀ ԳՆ սննդամթերքի անվտանգության պետական ծառայության կենտրոնական կառույցների  բացման արարողությունը, որին ներկա էին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Արմեն Մուրադյանը, ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարար Սերգո Կարապետյանը, ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսը, ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության դեպարտամենտի Վտանգների նվազեցման գործ ակալության ներկայացուցիչ Էլիզաբեթ Ջորջը։

«Առողջապահության ոլորտում նման  լաբորատորիայի բացումը եւս մեկ անգամ ընդգծում է, որ մենք հանրային առողջապահական ծրագրերը համարում ենք մեզ համար գերակա ուղղություն, եւ յուրաքանչյուր նման ծրագիր արժանահավատ է դարձնում մեր մոտեցումները բնակչության համար:  Այն կոչված է ամբողջովին փոխելու մեր պատկերացումները վարակիչ հիվանդությունների հայտնաբերման,  դրանց նույնականացման, հիվանդությունների հարուցիչների պահպանման վերաբերյալ»,- նշեց առողջապահությ ան նախարար Արմեն Մուրադյանը՝ տեղեկացնելով, որ հուլիսի 14-ին այդպիսի կենտրոն է բացվելու  նաեւ Գյումրիում:

Կենտրոնները կառուցվել եւ վերանորոգվել են ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության դեպարտամենտի Վտանգների նվազեցման գործակալության աջակցությամբ: Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսն իր խոսքում կարեւորեց երկու գերատեսչությունների հետ համագործակցությունը:

«Այս նոր ազգային կառույցի բացումը և մեր համագործակցությունը նախարարությունների հետ շահավետ է ոչ միայն Հայաստանի համար՝ ապահովելով երկրի անվտանգությունը, այլև ամբողջ աշխարհի համար՝ օգնելով հիվանդությունների տարածման դեմ պայքարում: Մենք գիտենք, որ ներկայիս գլոբալացված և փոխկապակցված աշխարհում հիվանդությունները սահմաններ չեն ճանաչում։ Ուստի պետք է բոլորս համատեղ աշխատենք կենսաբանական զենքերի տարածման կանխարգելման ուղղությամբ»։ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության դեպարտամենտի Վտանգների նվազեցման գոծակալության ներկայացուցիչ ԷլիզաբեթՋորջը տեղեկացրեց, որ Գյուղատնտեսության նախարարության կենտրոնի համար ներդրվել է 4.1 մլն, իսկ Առողջապահության նախարարության կենտրոնի համար՝  9.8 մլն դոլար:
