Թուրքիայի ռադիոյի և հեռուստատեսության բարձրագույն խորհուրդը (RTÜK) չեղյալ է հայտարարել բոլոր այն մեդիա ընկերությունների արտոնագրերը, որոնք կապված են կամ աջակցում են գյուլենականներին:

Ըստ նոր որոշման` դադարեցվել են հետևյալ ռադիո և հեռուստաընկերությունների գործունեությունը. Թուրքիայում հուլիսի 15-ի ձախողված հեղաշրջման ժամանակ Թուրքիայի տարբեր քաղաքներում սկսված բախումների հետևանքով զոհվել է շուրջ 290 մարդ: Վիրավորների թիվը պաշտոնական տվյալներով 1440 է: Թուրքիայի արդարադատության նախարար Բեքիր Բոզդաղը հայտարարել է, որ երկրում «զտումները» շարունակվում են, ձերբակալված է շուրջ 6 հազար մարդ: Ակնկալվում է, որ այս թիվն առաջիկայում ավելանալու է:
