Թայլանդում անցկացվող Փհուքետի բուսակերության փառատոնը անհասանելի բարձրուների է հասել մարդկանց ինքնախեղումների ձևերով։ Մարդկ ածում են իրենց երեսները ևս անցքերի միջից դանակներ, ադրջանակներ և այլ իրեր են անցկացնում։ Դա էլ հերիք չէ, մարդիկ այրվող ածուխների վրայով են քայլում, եռման յուղ են լցնում իրենց վրա, մագլցում են սուր շեղբերով ծածկված աստիճաններով և այս ամենը՝ առանց ցավազրկողների։ Ամեն տարի անցկացվող այս փառատոնը կազմակերպում է փոքրիկ չինական համայնքը, որտեղ հավատում են, որ մսից հրաժարվելն օգնում է լավ առողջություն ունենալ և հոգեկան անդորր։ vegetarian festival Փառատոնի ժամանակ հատուկ մարդիկ՝ մահ սոմգերը, ովքեր իբր Աստծո ներկայացուցիչներն են, իրենց տրանսի մեջ են գցում ու սկսում են խեղել իրենց մարմինները՝ հավատալով, որ այդ կերպ նրանք քշում են չարիքն իրենց ու իրենց համայնքի վրայից։ Ամբողջ փառատոնի ընթացքում անդադար հռավարություններ են լինում ու թմփկհարներն են թմբուկ խփում։ Այս ամենի փիլիսոփայությունը նույնն է. այն ինչ օտար դիտորդի համար սարսափելի քաոս է թվում, տղացիների կողմից ընկալվում է որպես չար ոգիների դեմ պայքար։ Այժմ ասյ փառատոնին ոչ միայն չինացիներն են մասնակցում, յալ բազմաթիվ այլ ազգային փոքրամասնություններ ու հենց թայլանդցիներ։ Իսկ մահ սոնգերը տարեցտարի ավելի ու ավելի սարսափելի ինքնախեղումներ են իրականացնում։ 2011 թվականին այս վարագ փառատոնի արդյունքում մահացել է 1 ու ծանր վնասվածքներ է ստացել 74 մարդիկ։ Այս տարի անցկացվող փառատոնի ընթացքում տուժածների մասին տվյալները դեռևս հայտնի չեն։ Այն շարունակվելու է մինչև հինգշաբթի։
