 Ռուսաստանը պատրաստի որոշումներ չի պարտադրում ԼՂ հակամարտության կողմերին, այդ հարցում հավասարակշռված փոխզիջում Է հարկավոր Ադրբեջանի ու Հայաստանի միջեւ: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս կարծիքը ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հայտնել Է ադրբեջանական «ԱզերԹԱջ» պետական լրատվական գործակալությանը տված հարցազրույցում :

«Ցանկանում եմ հատկապես ընդգծել, որ մենք բնավ չենք փորձում Ադրբեջանին եւ Հայաստանին պարտադրել ինչ-ինչ պատրաստի դեղատոմսեր,-ասել Է Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարը:-Կողմերն իրենք պետք Է համաձայնության գան, առանց արտաքին ճնշման, գտնեն փոխընդունելի լուծում, սա Է մեր հաստատ դիրքորոշումը»:

Պուտինի խոսքով՝ փոխզիջման հասնելը նախատեսում Է օպտիմալ հավասարակշռություն գտնել տարածքային ամբողջականության եւ ժողովուրդների ինքնորոշման իրավունքի սկզբունքների միջեւ: «Մենք մեզ լիովին հաշիվ ենք տալիս այն բանում, թե ինչ պատասխանատվություն Է ընկած Ադրբեջանի եւ Հայաստանի ղեկավարության ուսերին,-ընդգծել Է նա:- Կարգավորման վերջնական նպատակը պետք Է դառնա այնպիսի համաձայնության հասնելը, որի դեպքում կողմերից ոչ մեկը հաղթած կամ պարտված չի լինի, զիջումները լինեն փոխադարձ, կողմերից յուրաքանչյուրի օգուտները հանրային կարծիքի համար պարզ լինեն թե՛ Ադրբեջանում, թե՛ Հայաստանում»:

Պուտինը նշել Է, որ Ռուսաստանը պատրաստ Է պաշտպանել հիմնախնդրի լուծման այն տարբերակը, որը կբավարարի հակամարտության մեջ ներքաշված բոլոր կողմերին, մյուս միջնորդների հետ միասին հանդես գալ որպես կարգավորման երաշխավոր:

Նրա խոսքով՝ ՌԴ-ն անկեղծորեն շահագրգռված Է, որ խաղաղությունն ու հանգստությունը վերադառնան հարեւան տարածաշրջան, որպեսզի այնտեղ այլեւս չզոհվեն մարդիկ, բացվեն սահմանները, վերականգնվեն տնտեսական կապերը: «Դրա համար անում ենք հնարավոր ամեն ինչ»,-ասել Է Պուտինը:

ՌԴ նախագահը հիշեցրել Է, որ 1994 թվականի մայիսին Մոսկվայի ուղղակի աջակցությամբ ստորագրվեց հրադադարի համաձայնագիր, որը մինչ այժմ զինադադարի հիմքն Է, իսկ 2008 թվականին ընդունվեց Մոսկվայի հռչակագիրը, որում հաստատվեց, որ հակամարտության կարգավորումը պետք Է ձեռք բերվի միայն քաղաքական ճանապարհով: Դա ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման վերաբերյալ առաջին եւ առայժմ միակ փաստաթուղթն Է, որն ստորագրել են Ադրբեջանի եւ Հայաստանի նախագահները, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը:
