ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսին և ԱՄՆ Միջազգային զարգացման հայաստանյան գրասենյակի նորանշանակ ղեկավար Դեբորա Գրիսերին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, վարչապետը շնորհավորել է Գրիսերին նոր պաշտոնում նշանակվելու կապակցությամբ և վստահություն հայտնել, որ նա իր աշխատանքային մեծ փորձը լավագույնս կներդնի ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ հայաստանյան գրասենյակի աշխատանքների արդյունավետ կազմակերպման համար: Վարչապետը կարևորել է ԱՄՆ կառավարության՝ անցած տարիների ընթացքում Հայաստանին և հայ ժողովրդին ցուցաբերած օժանդակությունը և ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ-ի կողմից մեր երկրում տարբեր ոլորտներում իրականացվող ծրագրերը: Գործադիրի ղեկավարը նշել է, որ կառավարությունը պատրաստ է քննարկելու ԱՄՆ-ի հետ համատեղ նոր նախագծերի իրականացման հնարավորությունները՝ տեղեկացնելով, որ ներկայում ընթացքի մեջ են հաջողությամբ իրականացվող մի շարք ծրագրեր:

Դեսպան Միլսը կարևորել է ՀՀ կառավարության հետ համագործակցությունը՝ ի նպաստ Հայաստանի տնտեսության զարգացման, երկու երկրների միջև առևտրային ու ներդրումային կապերի ամրապնդման ու խորացման: Դեսպանն առանձնացրել է հատկապես զբոսաշրջության և գյուղատնտեսության ոլորտներում ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ-ի կողմից իրականացվող ծրագրերը և նշել, որ ներկայում դիտարկվում են նշված ուղղություններով նոր բաղադրիչներ ներառելու հնարավորություններն ու առաջարկները:

Կարևորելով ԱՄՆ օժանդակությունը՝ վարչապետ Աբրահամյանը նշել է, որ ՀՀ կառավարությունը գործուն քայլեր է ձեռնարկում նշված ոլորտներում էական առաջընթացի հասնելու նպատակով:
