«Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունն ստանձնել է Մոսկվայի մարզում ոստիկանների վրա կատարված հարձակման պատասխանատվությունը:

Ինչպես պնդում են ծայրահեղականների ռեսուրսները, Մոսկվայի մոտ ռուս ոստիկանների վրա գրոհած անձինք ԻՊ-ի զինյալներն էին:

«Իսլամական պետության» երկու զինյալներ ռուս ոստիկանների վրա հարձակվել են Բալաշիխայի շրջանում»,- ասված է ահաբեկիչների հետ կապված Amaq գործակալության հաղորդագրության մեջ:

Օգոստոսի 17-ին Բալաշիխայի շրջանում Շչելկովյան խճուղում  անհայտ երկու անձինք հարձակվել են ճանապարհապարեկային ծառայության պահակակետի վրա: Հանցագործներից մեկը կացնով հարվածել է ոստիկանին: Կարգի պահապանները կրակ են բացել, բայց երկրորդ հարձակվողը հասցրել է խլել ատրճանակը եւ վիրավորել եւս մեկ աշխատակցի: Ի վերջո, հարձակվողները գնդակահարվել են, տուժել Է երկու ոստիկան, նրանցից մեկը ծանր վիճակում է:
