Թուրքիայում հուլիսի 15-ին տեղի ունեցած ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձից հետո ձերբակալվել է 165 գեներալ, 6746 այլ բարձրաստիճան զինվորական, 4288 ոստիկանության աշխատակից, 19 նահանգապետ եւ այլ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ:

Այս մասին հայտնում է «Թուրքիե գազեթեսի» թերթը: Թուրքիայի պաշտպանության նախարարության կայքը հայտնել է, որ պետհեղաշրջման փորձից հետո որոշում է ընդունվել երկրի ԶՈւ կազմից պահուստ ուղարկել 586 գնդապետների:

Թուրքիայի պաշտպանության նախարար Ֆիքրի Իշըքը «Անատոլու» լրատվական գործակալությանը տված հարցազրույցում էլ հայտնել է, որ երկրի ԶՈւ-ն մաքրվել է դավաճանների մեծ մասից, որոնք մասնակից են ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձին: Նա հավելել է, որ ներկա դրությամբ Թուրքիայի ԶՈւ շարքերից ազատված զինվորականների թիվը հասել է 3725 մարդու:

Պաշտոնական տվյալներով` հուլիսի 28-ի դրությամբ Թուրքիայի ԶՈւ շարքերից հեռացվել է 149 գեներալ եւ ծովակալ: Բացի այդ, ձերբակալվել են նահանգապետի 63 օգնական, տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների 46 ղեկավար, 7912 այլ պետական պաշտոնյաներ, տարբեր կառույցների քաղաքացիական աշխատողներ:

Թուրքիայում ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձին մասնակցելու կամ աջակցելու մասով բացված քրեական գործով անցնում են 2245 զինվորական դատավոր եւ դատախազ, վճռաբեկ դատարանի 108 դատավոր, պետական խորհրդի (բարձրագույն վարչական դատական մարմին) 41 անդամ, սահմանադրական դատարանի, դատավորների եւ փաստաբանների բարձրագույն խորհրդի 7 անդամներ:
