Իտալիայի ազգային հրշեջ ծառայության աշխատակիցներին, որոնք որոնողափրկարարական գործողություն են իրականացնում լույս օգոստոսի 24-ի գիշերը երկրի կենտրոնական մասում տեղի Է ունեցած ավերիչ երկրաշարժի գոտում, արդեն հաջողվել Է փլատակներից դուրս բերել 215 ողջ մնացածների:

Այդ մասին Հռոմում անցկացված ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտնել Է ծառայության ղեկավար պրեֆեկտ Բրունո Ֆրատազին:   Նա ճշտել Է, որ հաջողվել Է 200 մարդու փրկել Ռիետիի մարզում (Լացիոյի մայրաքաղաքային մարզ) եւ եւս 15 հոգու՝ Մարկեի մարզի տարբեր բնակավայրերում: 

Ֆրատազիի խոսքով՝ ներկայում տարերային աղետի գոտում աշխատում են Հրշեջ ծառայության 2027 աշխատակիցներ, որոնց տրամադրության տակ կա 400 միավոր հրշեջ հատուկ տեխնիկա:  Պաշտոնական վերջին տվյալների համաձայն՝ տարերային աղետի հետեւանքով զոհվել Է 241 մարդ, 264 տուժածներ գտնվում են հիվանդանոցներում:

Իտալիայում 6,0 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ Է տեղի ունեցել լույս օգոստոսի 24-ի գիշերը: Առաջին ցնցումը գրանցվել է տեղական ժամանակով ժամը 03:36-ին (Երեւանի ժամանակով՝ 05:36-ին), դրան հաջորդել է եւս մեկը՝ ավելի փոքր ուժգնությամբ: Էպիկենտրոնը գտնվում էր Հռոմից 113 կիլոմետր հյուսիս-արեւելք ընկած շրջանում:

Օջախը, ըստ տարբեր տվյալների, 4-ից մինչեւ 10 կիլոմետր խորության վրա էր:Ստորգետնյա ցնցումների հետեւանքով առավել մեծ ավերածություններ են եղել Ամատրիչե, Ակումոլի եւ Պեսկարա դել Տրոնտո բնակավայրերում, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
