Երեկոյան, երբ զինվորական մեքենան զորամասից վերադառնում է գյուղ, Անդրանիկ Գրիգորյանի մորը` Զինային, դեռ թվում է, թե որդին ուր որ է ոտք կդնի տուն: Տիկին Զինան անձամբ էր գնացել դիահերձարան` ճանաչելու որդու մարմինը, եւ այն, ինչ ստիպված էր եղել տեսնել, չէր ցանկանա աշխարհում ոչ մի մոր. գնդակահարված աչք, պատառոտված որովայն, կտրված ականջ: Բայց այդքանից հետո էլ կնոջը, միևնույն է, թվում է, թե ահա հենց հիմա կբացվի դուռը, եւ Անդրեյը, ինչպես նա էր անվանում որդուն, հին օրերի պես ամբողջ տունը կլցնի իրենով:

Անդրեյը աշխատել է 13 տարեկանից,- հիշում է կինը,- հայրը լքել էր ընտանիքը, եւ նա էր հոգ տանում մոր եւ կրտսեր քույրերի մասին: Հետո տուն էր բերել հարսնացուին` Նինային, որն այն ժամանակ ընդամենը 16 տարեկան էր: Այժմ Նինան 19 տարեկան է, արդեն հասցրել է այրիանալ` խնամքին երկու տղա` երկամյա Գոռը եւ մեկամյա Մարտիկը: Մենք երկար թափառում էինք ԼՂՀ Հադրութի մարզով մեկ`որոնելով Սիրիկ գյուղը կամ ինչպես այժմ են կոչում` Հայկավանը: Սկզբում գնացինք այլ ճանապարհով, եւ ի վերջո ձորակում տեսանք մի երկու թեք ընկած տներ. ահա եւ ամբողջ գյուղը: Թե ինչպես է այստեղ հայտնվել մոլդովուհի Զինան, առանձին պատմություն է: Ծառայություն Գյումրիի զորամասում, ամուսնություն, երկրաշարժ, մեկնում Ուկրաինա եւ վերադարձ: Բայց արդեն ոչ Գյումրի, քանի որ այնտեղ այլեւս չկար տուն, այլ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ: Այստեղ մութ, ցուրտ ու քաղցած տարիներին` առաջին ղարաբաղյան պատերազմից հետո, Զինան դարձյալ նորոգեց իր կյանքը. նա քիչ թե շատ տանելի տեսք տվեց հին ու կիսաքանդ տանը, հիմնեց բանջարանոց, հայթայթեց անասուններ: Անդրեյը դարձավ պայմանագրային զինծառայող, դուստրերը մեծացան: Հետո տանը հայտնվեցին հարս եւ թոռներ: Թվում էր` կյանքը շտկվել է, միայն թե նոր տուն, չնայած շարունակ խոստումներին, այդպես էլ չկառուցեցին: Իսկ հինը այլեւս ենթակա չէ վերականգնման...

Զինան եւ Նինան հույս ունեն, որ գոնե հիմա իրենց բնակարան կհատկացնեն Հադրութում։

30-ամյա Անդրանիկ Գրիգորյանը զոհվել է ապրիլյան պատերազմի ժամանակ: Նա սպանվել էր ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի առաջին իսկ օրը` ապրիլի 2-ին, բայց նրա մարմինը գտնվում էր ադրբեջանցիների մոտ եւ հայկական կողմին փոխանցվեց միայն ապրիլի 9-ին:
