«Մենք միշտ վառ ենք պահելու Արցախի և Հայաստանի նոր սերնդից ճառագող այն լույսը, որ ապրիլյան օրերին բոլորիս դարձրել էր միասնական». Երևանի Հանրապետության հրապարակում տեղի ունեցած Անկախության 25-ամյակին նվիրված զորահանդեսի ժամանակ հայտարարեց ՀՀ Նախագահ, Զինված ուժերի գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատար Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

«Կեցցեն Հայաստանի սահմաններն աչալուրջ հսկող մեր տղաները, նրանք մեր ազատության թիվ մեկ երաշխավորն են, փառք Արցախյան ազատամարտը կերտած անմահ հերոսներին և մեր բոլոր քաջարի տղաներին, փառք ապրիլյան մեր կորյուններին, որ հօդս ցնդեցրին հակառակորդի բոլոր ծրագրերը: Ամիսներ առաջ հետախույզ գնդացրորդ Սասուն Մկրտչյանի շիրիմի առաջ մեր բոլորի անունից խոստացա, որ շարունակելու ենք Սասունի և իր ընկերների սուրբ գործը, միշտ վառ ենք պահելու Արցախի և Հայաստանի նոր սերնդից ճառագող այն լույսը, որ ապրիլյան օրերին բոլորիս դարձրել էր միասնական, միասնա կան մեկ բռունցք` պատրաստ իջնելու մեր անվտանգությանը սպառնացող ոսոխի գլխին: Մենք մեր խոստումը պահելու ենք: Վկան` այս զորահանդեսն է»,-ասաց ՀՀ Նախագահը և ավելացրեց.  

«Կեցցե Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացին, հողի մշակն ու շինարարը, բժիշկն ու ուսուցիչը, պետական ծառայողն ու մշակութային գործիչը, փառք նոր արժեք ստեղծող հայաստանցուն: Կեցցե Հայաստան-Արցախ-Սփյուռք եռամիասնությունը, միասին մենք ավելին ենք, քան հնարավոր է պատկերացնել: Կեցցեն Հայաստանի ազգային փոքրամասնությունները ներկայացնող մեր քույրերն ու եղբայրները, ովքեր հավասարապես լծված են մեր երկրի խաղաղությունն ու պաշտպանությունը հետևողական առաջ տանելու գործին: Կեցցե հայ ավանդական ընտանիքը, որ ժամանակին բոլոր հոսանքներից անդին շարունակո ւմ է մնալ հերոսներ կերտող և ուսումնատենչ սերունդ մեծացնող ջերմության աղբյուր»:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը շնորհավորեց ողջ հայությանը Հայաստանի պետականության վերականգնման քառորդդարյա հոբելյանի առթիվ: «Փառք Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը, փառք Հայաստանի Զինված ուժերին»:
