 Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունից ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի թեկնածու Հիլարի Քլինթոնն առաջին հեռուստաբանավեճում հաղթանակ Է տարել Հանրապետական կուսակցությունից թեկնածու Դոնալդ Թրամփի նկատմամբ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է CNN հեռուստաընկերությունը՝ վկայակոչելով հարցման արդյունքն երը, որն անցկացվել Է Հոֆստրա համալսարանում (Նյու Յորքի նահանգ) կայացած բանավեճի ավարտից անմիջապես հետո:

Թրամփն, ավարտելով հեռուստաբանավեճը, խոստացել Է աջակցել Քլինթոնին՝ ընտրություններում նրա հաղթելու դեպքում: «Ես չեմ հավատում, որ նա կհաղթի: Բայց եթե նա հաղթի, ես լիովին կաջակցեմ նրան»,- ասել Է նա: Քլինթոնն իր հերթին, պատասխանելով համանման հարցին, նշել Է, որ «կպաշտպանի ժողովրդավարությունը եւ ընտրությունների արդյունքները», հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
