1.Առաջին անգամ ջինսե կտորեղենի մասին հիշատակվում է XVI դարի Անգլիայի նավահանգստային գրքերի մեջ: Այդ ժամանակ ջինսե կտորը ներկրում էին Գենուայից, հետագայում այն սկսեցին արտադրել նաև Եվրոպայում:
