Հոկտեմբերի 3-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունեց Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Առողջապահության նորանշանակ նախախար Լևոն Ալթունյանին` ուղեկցությամբ Մայր Աթոռի «Իզմիրլյան» բժշկական կենտրոնի գործադիր տնօրեն Արմեն Չարչյանի:

Այս մասին հայտնում են Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից։

Հանդիպմանն Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը նշանակման առիթով շնորհավորեց նախարարին, հաջողություններ և արդյունավետ առաքելություն մաղթեց նրան առողջապահության բարդ և դժվարին ոլորտում:

Նորին Սրբությունը հույս հայտնեց, որ նախարարն ամեն ջանք կներդնի ոլորտի զարգացման ուղղությամբ, նոր ձեռքբերումներով այն կբարձրացնի մի նոր մակարդակի: Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընդգծեց, որ Հայոց Եկեղեցին` իր աշխարհասփյուռ թեմերով, ունեցած հնարավորությունների սահմաններում պիտի շարունակի զորակցություն բերել ոլորտի արդյունավորմանը:

Իր հերթին տիար Լևոն Ալթունյանը Հայոց Հայրապետին ներկայացրեց առողջապահության զարգացման և առկա խնդիրների հաղթահարման վերաբերյալ իր տեսլականը` վստահեցնելով, որ պիտի ամեն ջանք գործադրի այս պատասխանատու ծառայության մեջ` ի նպաստ հայրենի բնակչության: 

Զրույցի ընթացքում անդրադարձ կատարվեց առողջապահության խնդիրներին: Այս կապակցությամբ Վեհափառ Հայրապետը մասնավորապես կարևորեց բժշկական ծառայությունների մատչելիությունը կարիքավորների և հասարակության խոցելի խմբերի համար:
