ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության նախարար, ՊԲ հրամանատար, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Մովսես Հակոբյանը Արցախի հանրային հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում անդրադարձել է Ադրբեջանի կողմից առաջնագիծն ապակայունացնելու փորձերի մասին:
«Հուլիսի 28-ից սկսած մինչ այսօր հակառակորդը տարբեր բնույթի գործողություններ է իրականացրել` հիմնականում դիվերսիոն-հետախուզական, իսկ օգոստոսի 1-ից 2-ը բացարձակ հարձակում է իրականացրել մեր մարտական դիրքերի վրա, օգոստոսի 2-ից 3-ը նաեւ նման փորձ է արել , եւ այդ ամենը հուշում է, որ հակառակորդն ունենալով անհաջողություններ բանակցային գործընթացում , փորձում է ապակայունացնել իրավիճակը տարածաշրջանում նման գործողություններով: Մենք տեղեկացրել ենք հասարակությանը հակառակորդի այդ ոտնձգությունների մասին, եւ ՊԲ ստորաբաժանումները համապատասխան գործողություններով պարտադրել են հակառակորդին հետ շպրտվել եւ գնալ ելման դիրքեր, նար ՊԲ հատուկ ստորաբաժանումները որոշակի պատժողական գործողություններ են իրականացրել` փորձելով հակառակորդին բացատրել, որ այս ճանապարհը բերելու է 1992-1994 թվականներին եւ պսակվելու է 1994թ մայիսի 12-ով: ՊԲ առաջապահ ստորաբաժանումները իրենց խնդիրը գերազանց են կատարում , հատուկ ստորաբաժանումները եւս իրենց առաջ դրված խնդիրները իրականացրել են փայլուն կերպով, եւ մենք սա շարունակելու ենք: Առաջնագիծը անխախտելի է, եւ որեւէ մեկը չի կարողանալու փոխել այդ սահմանագիծը մեկ ուրիշ բնագծի հետ»,- հայտարարել է Մովսես Հակոբյանը:
Հարցին, թե ինչո՞վ են պայմանավորված հակառակորդի նմանօրինակ գործողությունները, Մովսես Հակոբյանը պատասխանել է, որ իր կարծիքով կան մի քանի պատճառներ, առաջինը` Ադրբեջանի նոր պաշտպանության նախարարի նշանակումն է: «Հարցազրույցներից մեկի ժամանակ, երբ ինձ հարցրեցին, թե ի՞նչ կուզենայի, որ Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները ունենային, ես ասացի, որ կուզենայի` նրանք մի քիչ խելոք լինեն: Ադրբեջանի պաշտպանության նոր նախարարը ուզում է ցույց տալ, որ կարող է գերազանցել նախորդին: Հաջորդ պատճառը բանակցային գործընթացում ունեցած անհաջողություններն էին, փորձում են Մինսկի Խմբի համանախագահող երկրների ուշադրությունը սեւեռել այդ հիմնախնդրի լուծմանը` նրանց շանտաժի ենթարկելով»,- ընդգծել է ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը:
