Քաղաքագետ Նարեկ Գալստյանի կարծիքով՝ բոլորովին անակնկալ չէր վերջին շրջանում Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի ուղղությամբ արձակվող կրակոցների ինտենսիվությունը:

«Ապրիլյան դեպքերից հետո էլ գոնե մեր փորձագիտական միջավայրում հստակ ամրագրվեց  այն մոտեցումը, որ սահմանային միջադեպերը չեն վերանալու: Դրանք ժամանակավորապես սառեցվել էին մինչեւ Վիեննայի եւ Սանկտ  Պետերբուրգի հանդիպումների համաձայնեցումը, որից հետո վերակենդանացան:  Իրականում, ոչ ոք էլ չի ակնկալում, որ դրանք  կվերանան ընդհանրապես»,- նման դիտարկում կատարեց քաղաքագետը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո չնայած ներգրավված կողմերի փորձերին՝ գործընթացն այդպես էլ մնաց հայտարարությունների փուլում:

«Ուստի բոլորովին անսպասելի չէր, որ  սահմանային միջադեպերը վերսկսվելու են: Մտահոգություն ունեմ, որ եթե դրանց  ինտենսիվությունը ավելանա, բախման նոր սցենարի հավանակություն կլինի՝ միգուցե ոչ լայնամասշտաբ, բայց հնարավոր է: Պարզապես հստակ է, որ Ադրբեջանն իր դիրքորոշումը չի փոխել, եւ ոչինչ չի փոխվել, ինչը կազդեր Ադրբեջանի պաշտոնական տեսակետի վրա:

Ուստի մենք, առաջին հերթին ապավինելով մեր ուժերին, պետք է պատրաստ լինենք ցանկացած զարգացումների՝ անգամ ոչ շատ մեծ մասշտաբի, քանի որ միջազգային հանրությունը մեր փոխարեն այդ խնդիրը չի լուծի&raq uo;,-եզրափակեց Նարեկ Գալստյանը:
