Հոկտեմբերի 23-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունել է Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտի իշխան և մեծ վարպետ Ֆրա Մեթյու Ֆեստինգի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը՝ ուղեկցությամբ Վատիկանում ՀՀ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Միքայել Մինասյանի և ՀՀ-ում Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ժան-Միշել Ուղուրլյանի:

Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը, ողջունելով պրն․ Ֆրա Մեթյու Ֆեստինգին և նրան ուղեկցող անձանց, նշել է, որ իր հայրապետության ընթացքում բազմիցս առիթներ է ունեցել տարբեր միջոցառումների և հոգևոր արարողությունների ժամանակ ընդունելու Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտի դեսպաններին ու ներկայացուցիչներին: Նորին Սրբությունը գոհունակությամբ արձանագրել է, որ Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտը պատմության ընթացքում մեծ ծառայություններ է մատուցել մարդկությանը և այսօր էլ շարունակում է իր օգտակարությունը բերել տարբեր ոլորտներում:

Խոսելով Ուխտի և Մայր Աթոռի միջև առկա կապերի մասին՝ Վեհափառ Հայրապետը նաև անդրադարձ է կատարել միջեկեղեցական հարաբերություններին՝ փաստելով, որ Հայ Եկեղեցին մշտապես սերտ կապեր է ունեցել Քույր Եկեղեցիների հետ, որոնք ներկայիս ևս շարունակում են զորանալ ու զարգանալ:

Անդրադառնալով Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Ս. Եկեղեցու պատմությանն ու դերակատարությանը՝ Նորին Սրբությունը մասնավորապես ընդգծել է քրիստոնեական հավատքի վրա խարսխված այն զորեղ հավատքն ու անկոտրում ոգին, որով հայ ժողովուրդը դիմագրավել է պատմության ընթացքում իր առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերներն ու փորձություններն և կերտել իր հաղթանակները:

Նորին Վսեմություն իշխան և մեծ վարպետ Ֆրա Մեթյու Ֆեստինգն իր հերթին ուրախություն է հայտնել Մայր Աթոռ այցի առիթով, Հայոց Հովվապետին ներկայացրել է Ուխտի կողմից իրականացվող մարդասիրական ծրագրերը։ Պրն․ Ֆեստինգը նաև պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել շարունակելու համագործակցությունը Մայր Աթոռ Ս․ Էջմիածնի հետ։

Այս առնչությամբ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը և Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտի մեծ վարպետը կարևորել են սոցիալական ոլորտում իրականացվող մարդասիրական ծրագրերը։ Մասնավորապես խոսվել է Հայաստանում ապաստան գտած սիրիահայ ընտանիքների համար կեցության համապատասխան պայմաններ ստեղծելու, ինչպես նաև ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության պատճառով վիրավորվածներին և տուժածներին հոգատարություն ու խնամք ցուցաբերելու անհրաժեշտության մասին։

Վերջում Նորին Սրբությունը մաղթեց, որ Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտը շարունակի նույն նախանձախնդրությամբ և ավյունով ամենուրեք օգտաշատ ծառայություններ մատուցել տառապանքի, կարիքի և ցավի մեջ գտնվող անձանց:
