Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտի Արքայազնը հարգանքի տուրք մատուցեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին

Պետական այցով Հայաստանում գտնվող Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտի Արքայազն և մեծ վարպետ Ֆրա Մեթյու Ֆեսթինգն իր պատվիրակության հետ միասինայցելեց  Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիր: Նրան ուղեկցում էին Երեւանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը, ինչպես նաեւ Սուրբ Աթոռի եւՄալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Միքայել Մինասյանը:

Ֆրա Մեթյու Ֆեսթինգը,ծաղկեպսակ դնելով հուշահամալիրի, ապա՝ ծաղիկներ խոնարհելով անմար կրակի մոտ,  հարգեց 20-րդ դարասկզբի մեծագույն ոճրի` Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը: Այցելության ընթացքում նա թանգարանին կից եղեւնիների պուրակում տնկեց եղեւնի:

Այնուհետեւ Մալթայի Ինքնիշխան Մարտական Ուխտի ԱրքայազնըՀայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան–ինստիտուտի փոխտնօրեն Սուրեն Մանուկյանի ուղեկցությամբ շրջեց թանգարանում եւ հուշամատյանում գրառում կատարեց, որտեղ, մասնավորապես, ասված է. 

«Անչափ կարեւոր է, որ 1915 թվականի սարսափելի ցեղասպանության դեպքերը ավելի հասանելի լինեն նրանց, ովքեր պատասխանատու են 21-րդ դարի այդ դեպքերի համար: Շատերն անտարբեր են մեծանում այս դեպքերի նկատմամբ, եւ առանց սրա մասին իմացության, մեծ վտանգ կա, որ դեպքերը կկրկնվեն: Մենք պետք է ջանանք, որ պատմության դասերն ավելի լավ սերտվեն եւ հիշվեն»:
