Առաջիկա շաբաթների ընթացքում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հանդիպում չի նախատեսվում: ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀԿ խոսնակ, ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

«Ապագայում հնարավո՞ր է նման հանդիպում, թե՞ ոչ. կապրենք կտեսնենք: Մենք ունենք մեր հստակ կարծիքը, որը չի փոխվել: Վիեննայի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պայմանավորվածությունները պետք է կյանքի կոչվեն»,- նշեց Շարմազանովը:

Նա հավելեց, որ Ադրբեջանը, դժբախտաբար, ոչ թե իրականացնում է Վիեննայի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պայմանավորվածությունները, այլ արհամարհում է դրանք: «Ադրբեջանը դիվերսիոն գործողություն իրականացրեց, երեկ մենք սահմանին զոհ ունեցանք: Ես կարծում եմ, որ միջազգային հանրությունը և համանախագահները պետք է հանդես գան հասցեական գնահատականներով և ստիպեն Ադրբեջանին կատարել իր ստանձնած պարտավորությունները»,- ընդգծեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

Նա ևս մեկ անգամ ներկայացրեց հայկական կողմի դիրքորոշումը ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում. Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովուրդը ինքը պետք է լինի իր ճակատագրի դարբինը, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունն անկախ պետություն է և որևէ կարգավիճակով չի կարող լինել Ադրբեջանի կազմում:

«Բանակցային գործընթացում էլ մենք մեր դիրքերից չենք շեղվելու: Մեր կարծիքը հետևյալն է՝ այլևս հետքայլ դեպի անցյալ հնարավոր չէ: Մենք պետք է գնանք առաջ և ապահովենք Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության միջազգային ճանաչումը»,- ասաց Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:
