«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «ՀՀ ՊԵԿ նորանշանակ նախագահ Վարդան Հարությունյանը բավական պատկառելի ունեցվածք է հայտարարագրել: Այսպես՝ նա պաշտոնապես ունի երկու առանձնատուն, երեք բնակարան եւ 12 հատ հողամաս, երեք հատ ավտոմեքենա` «RANGE ROVER 4.4 L V8 2.2», «MERCEDES-BENZ S 500 2.3» եւ «UAZ 469» մակնիշների: Հարությունյանը հայտարարագրել է նաեւ 309 միլիոն 300 հազար դրամ արժողությամբ բաժնեմաս:

Պաշտոնը ստանձնելու պահին` հոկտեմբերի 8-ի դրությամբ ունեցել  471 հազար 931 դոլարի եւ 2 մլն 659 հազար 657 դոլարի փոխառություններ` տոկոսով տրված գումարներ: ՊԵԿ նոր նախագահն ունի նաեւ 8 մլն դրամը գերազանցող արժեքով 2 ժամացույց եւ մեկ կտավ: Նրա դրամական միջոցները կազմում են 45 մլն 743 հազար դրամ, 54 հազար 105 դոլար եւ 110 եվրո:

«Գազպրոմ Արմենիայի» գլխավոր տնօրենի պաշտոնում նա այս տարվա 9 ամսում ստացել է 123 միլիոն 80 հազար դրամ աշխատավարձ` ամսական 13 միլիոն 675 հազար դրամ: Այս տարվա ընթացքում ստացել է նաեւ 121 հազար 640 դոլարի եկամուտ, որպես փոխառությունների տոկոսավճար»:
