Մեծ Բրիտանիան կպահպանի ԵՄ-ից դուրս գալու հայտարարված գրաֆիկը, չնայած Լոնդոնի Բարձր ատյանի դատարանի որոշմանը, ըստ որի կառավարությանն արգելվում Է միանձնյա նախաձեռնել Լիսաբոնի պայմանագրի 50-րդ հոդվածի (նախատեսում Է ԵՄ-ից պետության դուրս գալու մեխանիզմը) կիրառումը՝ առանց երկրի խորհրդարանի մասնակցության: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, նոյեմբերի 4-ին հայտնել Է Sky News հեռուստաալիքը՝ վկայակոչելով վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյի մամուլի քարտուղարին:    

«Նա (Մեյը) Եվրոպայի ղեկավարներին կներկայացնի իրադրությունը, ըստ որի մենք բողոքարկում ենք դատավճիռը եւ շարունակում հետեւել այն ժամկետներին, որոնք հայտարարել ենք:  Դատական որոշումը չի խախտի դրանք»,-ասել Է նախարարների կաբինետի ղեկավարի ներկայացուցիչը:

Ինչպես արդեն տեղեկացվել Է, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի Գերագույն դատարանը որոշել Է, որ կառավարությունը չի կարող սկսել Եվրամիությունից երկրի դուրս գալու ընթացակարգն առանց խորհրդարանի համաձայնության: Հայցը հարուցել են ձեռնարկիչ Ջինա Միլլերը եւ վարսավիր Դեյր  դոս Սանթոսը: Դատարանը բռնել Է նրանց կողմը՝ վկայակոչելով Եվրամիության պայմանագրի տեքստը, որում ասված Է, որ պետությունները կարող են դուրս գալ դրա կազմից «իրենց սահմանադրությունների պահանջներին համապատասխան»:  

Երկրի վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյը պնդում Էր, որ հանրաքվեի արդյունքները եւ նախարարական լիազորությունները բավարար են Լիսաբոնի պայմանագրի 50-րդ հոդվածն ակտիվացնելու եւ ԵՄ-ից դուրս գալու ընթացակարգն սկսելու համար՝ առանց խորհրդարանի հետ կոնսուլտացիաների: Սակայն դատարանը վճռել Է, որ դա չի համապատասխանում երկրի գլխավոր օրենքին: 

Մեյի գրասենյակում արդեն հայտարարել են, որ կբողոքարկեն այդ վճիռը, ենթադրվում Է, որ դատարանը գործի քննությանը կվերադառնա դեկտեմբերին, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
