 Կիբեռնետիկայի բնագավառում ավստրալացի հայտնի մասնագետ Թոբի Ֆիկինը դարձել Է կիբեռգործերի՝ երկրի պատմության մեջ առաջին դեսպանը: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է Արմենպրեսը, այդ նշանակման մասին հայտնել Է երկրի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ջուլի Բիշոպը:

Կիբեռդեսպանի պաշտոն սահմանելու մասին այս տարվա ապրիլին հայտարարել Էր Ավստրալիայի վարչապետ Մալկոլմ Թեռնբուլը՝ ներկայացնելով կիբեռանվտանգության նոր ազգային ռազմավարությունը, որի խնդիրը, նրա խոսքով, Ավստրալիայի շահերի պաշտպանությունն Է ու առաջմղումը:

«Մենք չենք գտնում, որ Համացանցի անվտանգությունն ու ազատությունը փոխբացառող հասկացություններ են,-նշել Է կառավարության ղեկավարը:-Ընդհակառակը, դրանք լրացնում են միմյանց. հուսալի կիբեռպաշտպանությունը մարդկանց, բիզնեսին եւ պետական կառույցներին վստահություն Է ներշնչում միմյանց նկատմամբ, ինչը նրանց թույլ Է տալիս ազատորեն ինովացիոն գաղափարներ փոխանակել»:

Թեռնբուլը ճշտել Է, որ կիբեռգործերի դեսպանի գլխավոր խնդիրը իր երկրի շահերը ներկայացնելն Է եւ կիբեռանվտանգության հարցերի շուրջ տեղեկատվության փոխանակումը միջազգային ասպարեզում»:

Իր հերթին Ավստրալիայի ԱԳ նախարարն ընդգծել Է, որ «կիբեռդեսպանն աշխատելու Է վարչապետի՝ կիբեռանվտանգության հարցերով խորհրդականի հետ սերտ շփմամբ», բայց ընդսմին նրա գլխավոր խնդիրներից մեկը «պետական գրաքննությունից Համացանցի պաշտպանությունն Է», հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
