Հին ժամանակներում Աստված ստեղծեց 10 Ադամ։ Նրանցից մեկը հողագործությամբ էր զբաղվում, մյուսը՝ անասնապահությամբ, 3-րդը՝ ձուկ էր որսում։ Որոշ ժամանակ անց եկան նրանք Հոր մոտ խնդրանքով։

-Ամեն ինչ կա, բայց էլի ինչ-որ բան չի բավականցնում։ Տխուր է անցնում։
Աստված նրանց խմոր տվեց ու ասաց.
-Թող ձեզնից յուրաքնաչյուրը դրանով իր կերպարով կին ստեղծի, ում ինչպես դուր է գալիս. գեր, նիհար, բարձրահասակ, ցածրահասակ, իսկ նրանց կյանք կտամ։

Դրանից հետո Աստված շաքար դրեց սեղանին ու ասաց.
-Այստեղ շաքարի 10 կտոր կա։ Թող ձեզնից յուրաքանչյուրը մեկ հատը տա իր կնոջը, որ նրա հետ կյանքը քաղցր լինի։

Այդպես էլ արեցին։
Իսկ հետո Աստված սաստիկ բարկացավ։
-Ձեր մեջ խաբեբա կա։ Սեղանին կար շաքարի 11 կտոր, ո՞վ է 2 կտոր վերցրել։
Բոլորը լռեցին։
Աստված վերցրեց նրանց կանանց, խառնեց ու տվեց բոլորին, ում պատահի։
Դրանից հետո 10 տղամարդկանցից 9-ը մտածում են, որ ուրիշի կինը քաղցր է, որովհետև կերել է 2 կտոր շաքար։

Եվ միայն Ադամներից մեկն է, որ մտածում է այն կինը, ով իր հետ է՝ միակն է ու անկրկնելին, իսկ մյուսները միանման, քանի որ շաքարի ավելորդ կտորն ինքն է կերել:
