ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարար Իգնատի Առաքելյանը նոյեմբերի 15-ին ընդունել է Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի հարևանության հարցերով գլխավոր տնօրինության Հայաստանի, Ադրբեջանի, Բելառուսի և Արևելյան գործընկերության հարցերով բաժնի ղեկավար Վասիլիս Մարագոսի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը: Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, հանդիպման նպատակն էր քննարկել գյուղատնտեսության ոլորտում հետագա համագործակցության հեռանկարները:

«Եվրամիությունը մեծ աջակցություն է ցուցաբերում Հայաստանում գյուղատնտեսության բնագավառի զարգացմանը, ինչը շատ բարձր է գնահատվում ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից: Այնուամենայնիվ, ոլորտում դեռ առկա են շատ խնդիրներ, որոնց լուծման համար մենք ակնկալում ենք ձեր օժանդակությունը», - ողջունելով հյուրերին նշել է նախարար Առաքելյանը: 

Պատվիրակության ղեկավար Վասիլիս Մարագոսն իր հերթին տեղեկացրել է, որ Եվրամիությունը նախատեսում է շարունակել աջակցությունը գյուղատնտեսության բնագավառում` միաժամանակ հավելելով, որ անհրաժեշտ է ճշգրտել այն ուղղությունները, որոնցում հայկական կողմն առավել նպատակահարմար է գտնում փոխգործակցել` ելնելով երկրի գյուղատնտեսության ոլորտի ներկայիս առաջնահերթություններից և գերակա խնդիրներից:

Ագրարային ոլորտի առաջնային խնդիրների թվում նախարար Իգնատի Առաքելյանը, մասնավորապես, առանձնացրել է գյուղատնտեսության վերավարկավորման, կոոպերացիայի զարգացման, սուբսիդավորման ծրագրերի, իսկ վերամշակող ճյուղում` մթերման գործընթացի բարելավման հարցերը: 

Նախարարը կարևորել է նաև անասնապահության ոլորտի զարգացումը, ինչը կնպաստի արտադրանքի ծավալների, ինչպես նաև ֆերմերների եկամուտների ավելացմանը:

Պատվիրակության անդամները վստահեցրել են, որ  ներկայացված առաջարկները հանգամանորեն կուսումնասիրվեն և հնարավորության դեպքում կներառվեն հետագա համատեղ ծրագրերի մեջ: Անհրաժեշտության դեպքում հայկական կողմին կտրամադրվի նաև խորհրդատվական ծառայություն:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը քննարկել են երկուստեք հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող այլ հարցեր ևս:
