Մենք  անիմաստ ու անընդունելի ենք համարում Լոզանի պայմանագիրը կասկածի տակ դնելու փորձերը։ Այս մասին հայտնել է Հունաստանի նախագահ Պրոկոպիս Պավլոպուլոսը՝ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ, փոխանցում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստին»։

Ընդունելով ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբամային իր նստավայրում՝ Պավլոպուլոսը երեք թեմաներ է առանձնացրել, որոնք նրա խոսքով, ազգային նշանակություն ունեն։

Նախեւառաջ նա առանձնացրել է Կիպրոսի հարցը, որը դե ֆակտո կիսված է 1974-ից հետո ՝ երբ Թուրքիան՝ հույն զինվորականների մասնակցությամբ կղզում պետհեղաշրջման փորձին ի պատասխան, ռազմական ներխուժում նախաձեռնեց։ «Մենք ուզում ենք արագ, արդարացի ու կենսունակ լուծումներ, միջազգային իրավունքի ու եվրոպական ինստիտուցիոնալ նվաճումների համապատասխան։ Անընդունելի է կոնֆեդերատիվ ձեւը, օկուպացիոն ուժերը կամ անախրոնիկ երաշխիքները»,- ասել է Հունաստանի նախագահը։ Հակառակ դեպքում, նրա խոսքով, ծայրաստիճան բացասական նախադեպ կստեղծվեր ԵՄ բոլոր երկրների համար։ «Մենք նաեւ անիմաստ ու անընդունելի ենք համարում Լոզանի պայմանագիրը կակսածի տակ դնելու բոլոր փորձերը, քանի որ այն միջազգային իրավունքի մի մասն է»,- ասել է Պավրոպուլոսը։

Հունաստանի նախագահը անդրադարձել է նաեւ նախկին հարավսլավիական հանրապետություն Մակեդոնիայի անվանման հարցին։ Աթենքը ուզում է փոխել նախկին հարավսլավիական հանրապետության անվանումը, որպեսզի այն չշփոթեն հունական Մակեդոնիա շրջանի հետ ու արգելափակում է Սկոպյեի անդամակցությունը ԵՄ-ին ու ՆԱՏՕ-ին։
