 ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը երազում է այն օրվա մասին, երբ Ղարաբաղը կլինի կամ Հայաստանի կազմում, կամ՝ անկախ պետություն։ ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը «Ռոսիա սեգոդնյա»-ին «Sputnik Արմենիա»-ի համար տված հարցազրույցում մանրամասնել է, թե որն է իր երազանքն ու ինչպիսին է ցանկանում տեսնել Հայաստանը: 

«Երիտասարդները տուն կվերադառնան։ Եվ մենք ամեն օր չենք մտածի, թե ինչպես մեղմացնենքզոհված տղաների ծնողների ցավը։ Ուզում < b>եմ, որպեսզիԹուրքիայի հետ մեր սահմանը բացվի։ Ուզում եմ, որ թուրք երիտասարդությունը հասկանա, որինքը մեղավոր չէ նրանում, որ Օսմանյան կայսրությունում իրագործվել է Հայոցցեղասպանությունը։ Իրականում, ո՞րն է թուրք երիտասարդության մեղքը։ Հասկանում եք, եսցանկանում եմ, որ մարդիկ Եվրոպայից ժամանեն Հայաստան, ինչպես այսօր մենք Հայաստանիցհաճույքով մեկնում ենք Եվրոպա և հիանում, թե կարճ ժամանակահատվածում ինչպիսի մեծ աճ էգրանցվել գիտության, տեխնիկայի, սոցիալական ոլորտներում։ Ես ուզում եմ (դա, թերևս, իմամենաանիրականանալի երազանքն է), որպեսզի բոլոր հայերը հավաքվեն Հայաստանում։Հասկանո՞ւմ եք, թե դա ինչ շատ կլինի։ Երբ նրանք բոլորն, իրականում, հավաքվեն՝ նույն հարցիշուրջ չորս կարծիք կլինի։ Բայց, փոխարենը, հա րմարավետ կլինի։ Մենք ուժեղ ենք միասին»,-ասել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը` ընդգծելով, որ ցանկանում է, որ մեր ազգային գաղափարներն իրականություն դառնան։

Իսկ ազգային գաղափարն ուժեղ, ամուր պետություն դառնալն է, խնդիրներ չունենալը Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի հետ։
