Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Բ-ն գնահատել է Կովկասում խաղաղության հասնելու հարցում Համայն Ռուսիո պատրիարք Կիրիլի միջնորդական ջանքերը:

Նոյեմբերի 22-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք եւ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մոսկվայում (Ռուսաստանի Դաշնություն)՝ Ս․ Դանիելի պատրիարքանիստ վանքում, հանդիպում ունեցավ Մոսկվայի եւ Համայն Ռուսիո Կիրիլ Ա Պատրիարքի հետ։

Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Ս. Եկեղեցու եւ հավատավոր հայոց հոտի անունից շնորհավորելով Կիրիլ Պատրիարքին ծննդյան 70-րդ հոբելյանական տարեդարձի առիթով՝ Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը նրան փոխանցեց իր եղբայրական սերն ու բարեմաղթանքները՝ քաջառողջություն եւ Հովվապետության բեղուն տարիներ մաղթելով Նորին Սրբությանը:

Վեհափառ Հայրապետը գոհունակությամբ արձանագրեց, որ Կիրիլ Պատրիարքի հովվապետության տարիներին շարունակվեց Ռուս Ուղղափառ Եկեղեցու առաջընթացն ու հոգեւոր զարթոնքը՝ ի նպաստ ողջ քրիստոնյա աշխարհի։

Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետը մեծապես կարեւորեց Մոսկվայի եւ Համայն Ռուսիո Պատրիարքի Քույր Եկեղեցիներին եւ աշխարհի տարբեր կողմերում գտնվող քրիստոնեական համայնքներին ցուցաբերվող զորակցությունը՝ մասնավորապես անդրադառնալով Մերձավոր Արեւելքի երկրներում տիրող ծանր իրավիճակին։

Նորին Սրբությունը այս իմաստով գոհունակություն հայտնեց նաեւ, որ Ռուս Եկեղեցու Հովվապետի ուշադրությունից անմասն չէ նաեւ Այսրկովկասի տարածաշրջանը՝ առանձնակի գնահատելով Կիրիլ Պատրիարքի միջնորդական ջանքերը տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության վերահաստատման ուղղությամբ։

Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետը անդրադարձավ նաեւ երկու Եկեղեցիների միջեւ առկա եղբայրական կապերի եւ գործակցությանը՝ համահունչ երկու ժողովուրդների դարավոր բարեկամությանը։ Ներկա աշխարհի իրողությունների առջեւ կարեւորվեց ջանքերի համատեղման եւ գործակցության առավել ամրապնդման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ դիմագրավելու Եկեղեցիների եւ ժողովուրդների առջեւ ծառացած տարբեր մարտահրավերներ ու խնդիրներ։

Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Ռուսաստանի հայոց թեմերի եւ տեղի հայության հանդեպ մշտապես ցուցաբերվող հոգեւոր խնամքի եւ հայրական հոգածության համար իր մասնավոր շնորհակալությունը հայտնեց Կիրիլ Պատրիարքին:

Իր հերթին ողջունելով Նորին Սրբությանը եւ նրան ուղեկցող պատվիրակությանը՝ Կիրիլ Պատրիարքը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Գարեգին Բ Վեհափառ Հայրապետին՝ Նորին Սրբության համար հատկանշական հոբելյանի այս օրերին իր ներկայության եւ բերած մասնակցության համար։

Կիրիլ Պատրիարքը գոհունակությամբ նշեց, որ երկու ժողովուրդներին միավորող անցյալի նվիրական կապերն այսօր էլ շարունակում են զորանալ եւ պտղաբերել։ Նա ընդգծեց, որ անցյալում հայ-ռուսական հարաբերություններն անցել են թե´ դժվարությունների եւ թե´ հերոսական եղբայրական համագործակցության միջով՝ անկախ պետությունների առկայության պարագային շարունակելով ամրապնդվել եւ զարգանալ նոր ոգով ու ընդգրկունությամբ։
