Նոյեմբերի 23-ին Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի Տավրիդյան պալատում ՀՀ Աժ փոխնախագահ, Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովում ՀՀ ԱԺ պատվիրակության ղեկավար Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հանդիպել է ՌԴ Պետական Դումայի նախագահ Վյաչեսլավ Վոլոդինի հետ:

Շնորհավորելով Վյաչեսլավ Վոլոդինին` Աժ փոխնախագահը հույս է հայտնել, որ նրա ղեկավարության տարիներին հայ-ռուսական միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերությունները նոր զարգացում կարձանագրեն:

Կողմերը կարեւորել են հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների դաշնակցային բնույթը, որին նոր որակ է հաղորդել Հայաստանի անդամակցումը Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությանը:

Անդրադառնալով հայ-ռուսական միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերություններին` Աժ փոխնախագահը նշել է միջազգային հարթակներում խորհրդարանական պատվիրակությունների համակարգված աշխատանքի անհրաժեշտությունը: Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերն անդրադարձել են նաեւ տարածաշրջանային խնդիրներին:

Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը մասնավորապես նշել է. «Մենք կարեւորում ենք խաղաղության ու կայունության պահպանումը մեր տարածաշրջանում: Չնայած Վիեննայում եւ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածություններին, Ադրբեջանն անտեսում է դրանք, իր ապակառուցողական եւ հակահայկական գործողություններով շարունակում է սրել իրավիճակը շփման գծում: Դա անթույլատրելի է: Բոլորը պետք է հասկանան, որ խնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորումն այլընտրանք չունի եւ ոչինչ չի կարող ստիպել Արցախի ժողովրդին հետ կանգնել անկախ ու ազատ հայրենիքում ապրելու ձգտումից»:

Կողմերը կարեւորել են ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության կարգավորման բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհը՝ Մինսկի խմբի ձեւաչափում:

ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն անհրաժեշտ է համարել հավատարիմ մնալ ՀԱՊԿ խորհրդի երեւանյան հռչակագրի սկզբունքներին, որտեղ անթույլատրելի է համարվել իրավիճակի լարման ցանկացած երեւույթ:
