Երևանի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի միջև բազմակողմ համագործակցությանն առնչվող հարցեր են քննարկվել Երևանի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Դավիթ Օհանյանի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի փոխնահանգապետ Սերգեյ Մովչանի գլխավորած պատվիրակության հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել է նաև Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի ներկայացուցչության ղեկավար Արմենակ Կարապետյանը:

Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանի անունից ողջունելով պատվիրակության անդամներին` քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Դավիթ Օհանյանը նշել է, որ Երևանի և ՌԴ հյուսիսային մայրաքաղաքի սերտ համագործակցության հիմքում նաև Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանի ու Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի նահանգապետ Գեորգի Պոլտավչենկոյի ջերմ, բարեկամական հարաբերություններն են: Երկու քաղաքների միջև ստորագրված 2015-2020թթ. համագործակցության ծրագիրն էլ մեկ անգամ ևս փաստում է, որ գործընկերային հարաբերություններն արդյունավետ են և ունեն ընդլանման մեծ ներուժ: Դավիթ Օհանյանը նաև նշել է, որ օրեր առաջ «Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի օրերը Երևանում» ծրագրի շրջանակում ձեռքբերված պայմանավորվածության համաձայն փորձի փոխանակման նպատակով երևանցի բժիշկների խումբ կմեկնի Սանկտ Պետերբուրգ, ինչը ևս մեկ անգամ փաստում է երկկողմ համագործակցության արդյունավետությունը:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար` սանկտպետերբուրգյան պատվիրակության ղեկավար, Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի փոխնահանգապետ Սերգեյ Մովչանն էլ հատկանշել է, որ բարեկամ և գործընկեր քաղաքների համագործակցությունը կրթական, մշակութային, առևտրատնտեսական, այժմ նաև առողջապահական և այլ ոլորտներում ընդլայնելու իսկապես ավելի մեծ հեռանկարներ կան:
