Իրաքի Մոսուլ քաղաքում շուրջ 500 հազար բնակիչներ աղետալի վիճակում են հայտնվել  խմելաջրի անբավարարության պատճառով: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է  Արմենպրեսը, նոյեմբերի 30-ին հայտարարել Է Իրաքում ՄԱԿ-ի հումանիտար օգնության համակարգող Լիզ Գրանդը:

«Գործնականում կես միլիոն խաղաղ բնակիչներ, որոնք առանց այդ Էլ սննդի շարունակական պակաս են զգում, այժմ զրկված են խմելաջրից: Երեխաների, կանանց ու ընտանիքների վրա դրա ազդեցությունն աղետալի կլինի»,- ասել Է նա լրագրողներին:

2014 թվականին Մոսուլը գրաված «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման զինյալներից քաղաքի ազատագրման գործողությունը շարունակվում Է հոկտեմբերի 17-ից:
