100 000 բնակչին ընկնող ՄԻԱՎ վարակի գրանցված դեպքերի հաշվով առաջին տեղում Շիրակի մարզն է, ինչը մասնագետները կապում են արտագնա աշխատանքի մեկնողների մեծ թվի ու իրազեկվածության պակասի հետ:

Դեկտեմբերի 1-ը 1988 թվականից ի վեր նշվում է որպես ՁԻԱՀ-ի համաշխարհային օր։ Այն նվիրված է ՁԻԱՀ-ի համաճարակի վերաբերյալ իրազեկության մակարդակի բարձրացմանը։ «Հայկական Կարիտաս» կազմակերպությունը «ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելումը հետխորհրդային երկրներում» ծրագրի շրջանակում պարբերաբար անցկացնում է «Հետազոտվի՛ր եւ եղի՛ր իրազեկ» խորագիրը կրող հանրային միջոցառումներ Գյումրիում կամ մարզի գյուղական համայնքներում: Գյումրու  Վարդանանց հրապարակում, դեկտեմբերի 1-ին, միջոցառման շրջանակում   ժամը 11:00-17:00-ը անցկացվում է ՄԻԱՎ-ի եւ հ եպատիտ C-ի վերաբերյալ անվճար հետազոտություն Երեւանից ժամանած առաջատար մասնագետների կողմից։ Միջոցառումն իրականացվում է ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելման հանրապետական կենտրոնի հետ համատեղ:

Ինչպես Արմենպրեսին տեղեկացրեց ծրագրի ղեկավար Գայանե Նորիկյանը, միջոցառման նպատակն է Շիրակի մարզի բնակիչներին հնարավորություն ընձեռել տեղեկանալ ՄԻԱՎ-ի վերաբերյալ հետազոտության կարեւորության մասին, խորհրդատվություն ստանալ Երեւանից ժամանած առաջատար մասնագետների կողմից եւ, որ ամենակարևորն է,անվճար հետազոտվել ՄԻԱՎ-ի եւ հեպատիտ C-ի վերաբերյալ արագ թեստավորման միջոցով: Հետազոտվողները կստանան նախա- և հետթեստային անվճար խորհրդատվություն:

ՄԻԱՎ վարակի եւ հեպատիտ C-ի վերաբերյալ խորհրդատվության ու հետազոտության ծառայությունները տրամադրվում են  ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելման հանրապետական կենտրոնի շարժական բուժախտորոշիչ կլինիկայում։ Հետազոտության ընթացքում ապահովվում է  գաղտնիությունը: Այն, որ շատ դեպքերում իրազեկվածության կարիքը կա, փաստում են նաև երիտասարդները: Միջոցառմանը ներկա Արթուր Գրիգորյանը «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում անկեղծացավ՝ ավելի հեշտ է այս հիվանդությունը կանխել, քան բուժել, իսկ դա շատ ավելի լավ կստացվի, եթե քաղաքացին իրազեկված է:

Հանրային առողջապահություն ոլորտի «ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելումը հետխորհրդային երկրներում» ծրագիրը  նախորդ՝ «ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելումը գյուղական համայնքներում» ծրագրի շարունակությունն է, որն  իրականացվում է դեռևս 2012 թվականից,որի շրջանակում Շիրակի մարզի 60 գյուղական համայնքներում կատարվեցին ՄԻԱՎ-ի և վերարտադրողական առողջության վերաբերյալ իրազեկության մակարդակի բարձրացմանն ուղղված աշխատանքներ, ինչպես նաև համայնքաբնակներին տրվեց անվճար և անանուն հետազոտության հնարավորություն։

«ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելումը հետխորհրդային երկրներում» ծրագիրը համատեղ իրականացվող ծրագիր է Վրաստանի և «Կարիտաս Օդեսայի» հետ և ընդգրկում է Շիրակի մարզի 30 գյուղական համայնք։ Այս ծրագրում նաև իրազեկման աշխատանք է տարվում վերը նշված 60 համայնքների դպրոցների հետ« որոնք ունեն ավագ օղակ։  Հայաստանը Վրաստանի և Ուկրաինայի հետ համարվում է ՄԻԱՎ-ի բարձր տարածվածություն ունեցող երկիր, ուստի դա էր պատճառը՝ համատեղ գործելու և ՄԻԱՎ վարակին միասին հակազդելու։ Ըստ պաշտոնական վիճակագրական տվյալների, Հայաստանն այն 7 երկրների շարքում Õ §, որտեղ ՄԻԱՎ վարակը ոչ թե նվազում է, այլ տարեցտարի աճում։ Սա պայմանավորված է մի շարք հանգամանքներով, որոնցից ամենագլխավորը երկրում տիրող արտագաղթն է։ Ըստ ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելման հանրապետական կենտրոնի հրապարակած տեղեկատվության, 1988-ից մինչ այսօր ՀՀ-ում ՄԻԱՎ վարակով ապրող անձանց հաշվարկային թիվը 3600 է։ 100 000 բնակչին ընկնող ՄԻԱՎ վարակի գրանցված դեպքերի հաշվով առաջին տեղում Շիրակի մարզն է, որին հաջորդում են Լոռու,Գեղարքունիքի և Արմավիրի մարզերը :
