 Եվրահանձնաժողովի և Հայաստանի միջև օդային տրանսպորտի համապարփակ համաձայնագրով նախատեսվում է միաժամանակ 28 երկրների հետ ավիացիոն դաշտում ազատականացված ռեժիմի ձևավորում: Արմենպրեսի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին դեկտեմբերի 7-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նշեց ՀՀ տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Գարեգին Մելքոնյանը: Նա իր գոհունակությունը հայտնեց որոշման ընդունման վերաբերյալ, ըստ որի Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովը ստացել է համապատասխան բանակցային մանդատ և հնարավոր է դարձել Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն ընդհանուր ավիացիոն գոտու մասին համաձայնագրի բանակցությունների մեկնարկը: Փոխնախարարի խոսքով՝ բանակցությունները կսկսվեն տեսանելի ապագայում, երբ մասնագիտական և տեխնիկական առումով երկու կողմից թիմերը պատրաստ կլինեն: Գարեգին Մելքոնյանի վստահեցմամբ՝ ավիացիոն գոտու մասին համաձայնագրի բանակցությունները կտևեն կարճ, քանի որ այն մոդելային համաձայնագիր է, և փոփոխությունների ենթակա մա սերը շատ ավելի քիչ են:

Նրա տեղեկացմամբ՝ փոխադարձաբար կողմերը կստանան այսպես կոչված «հինգերորդ ազատությունը», երբ երկու կողմից նշանակվող ավիաընկերություններն այլևս կարիք չեն ունենում ավիացիոն մարմինների հետ ճշտել թռիչքների հաճախականությունը, դրանց վայրերը, քաղաքները և այլն:

«Սա Եվրոպական միության անդամ երկրների ավիացիոն ընկերություններին հնարավորություն կտա ուղևորներ փոխադրել  Հայաստան մեկ այլ երկրից: Մրցակցային տեսանկյունից դա առաջացնում է բավականին ազատականացված դաշտ, որը պետք է իր նպաստն ունենա ընդհանուր միջավայրի բարելավման վրա՝ բնականաբար նաև գների իջեցման և առավել բարենպաստ ուղևորափոխադրումների կարգավորման տեսանկյունից»,- ասաց Մելքոնյանը:

Փոխնախարարի ներկայացմամբ՝ տարիներ առաջ հայտարարված «բաց երկնքի» քաղաքականությունն անմիջապես չի գործում, այլ անհրաժեշտություն կա, որպեսզի գործընկեր երկրների հետ նմանատիպ ազատական կարգավորումներն ամրագրվեն երկկողմ հարթության մեջ: Դրա ճանապարհը համապատասխան միջազգային պայմանագրերով նմանատիպ ազատական կանոնակարգերն ու նորմերն ամրագրելն է: «Եվրոպական միության անդամ մի քանի երկրների հետ արդեն կա ազատականացման պայմանագրեր ստորագրելու գործընթացը»,- հավելեց ՀՀ տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Գա րեգին Մելքոնյանը:
