Ինքս լիովին համաձայն եմ այն կարծիքին, որ Հայաստանը ԵՏՄ անդամակցության հարցում այլընտրանք չուներ, և դա գլխավորապես կապված է Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի և Սերժ Սարգսյանի վարած անհեռատես արտաքին քաղաքականության և Հայաստանը մաս առ ռուս ցարին նվիրելու փաստի հետ:
Ժամանակին ընդհանրապես չկանխվեց Հայաստանի վաճառքը օտար պետությանը, որևէ լուրջ քաղաքական ցնցումներ չեղան այն իրողությունից հետո, երբ բառացիորեն ժամերի ընթացքում Հայաստանը կտրուկ փոխեց իր արտաքին քաղաքական ուղեծիրը: Այն ժամանակ, երբ ընթանում էին Հայաստանի քաղաքական սիրախաղերը Եվրոմիության հետ, մեր իմաստուն առաջնորդները քար լռությամբ հետևեցին այդ գործընթացին և չբարեհաճեցին զգուշացնել, որ դա Հայաստանի համար կործանարար ճանապարհ է: Այժմ, երբ Մինսկում դրվեց այդ ամոթալի պատմության վերջակետը՝ Հայաստանի համար արդեն նվաստացուցիչ պայմաններով, ազգափրկիչները սկսեցին իրենց խրախճանքը ժանտախտից հետո՝ ողջունելով այդ գործընթացը և դրա հակառակորդներին անվանելով ջղաձգվողներ...
Բա ազնիվ տղերք էիք, ազնիվ լիդերներ էիք, ինչու՞ փորձ չարեցիք կանխել այն միջավայրի ձևավորումը, որտեղ Հայաստանը կորցնում էր իր միջազգային հեղինակության վերջին փշրանքները: Ռոբերտ Քոչարյան - Սերժ Սարգսյան զույգը իր հհկաբհկաօեկախառը հենարանով Հայաստանը նվիրում էր Մոսկվային, բայց հնագույն մասնագիտության մոտիվներով տրվում էր եվրոպացիներին. քար լռություն: Իսկ ինչու՞ էիք ժամանակին թաքնվում նույն ջղաձգվողների թիկունքում: Ինչու՞ բողոքի ձայն չէիք բարձրացնում, երբ Հայաստանի անկախությունը տարիներ շարունակ աճուրդի էր դրված...
Այսօրվա քաղաքական դաշտը ամբողջովին զբաղված է լեշակերությամբ. մեկի գործուն քայլերով, մյուսի գործուն լռությամբ սպանել են հայկական պետությունը և փորձում են յուրաքանչյուրը նրա խղճուկ ժառանգությունից պոկել իրենց բաժինը...
Ընդդիմությունը լռելյայն ողջունեց առանց ժողովրդի կամքը հարցնելու ՀՀ-ն Մոսկվայի գիրկը նետելու՝ Քոչարյան-Սարգսյան զույգի խարդավանքը և խուսափեց գոնե իր արարողակարգային գործառույթից. երբ Մոսկվայում Սերժ Սարգսյանը երաշխիքներ էր տալիս Մաքսային Միությանը անդամագրվելու՝ ընդդիմությունը անգամ փորձ չարեց իշխանություններին «թայմ աուտ» պարտադրելու՝ հասարակության կարծիքը գոնե ձևական ֆիքսելու համար: Ի վերջո, ո՞վ իրավունք ունի իմ փոխարեն որոշելու, թե ինչպիսի ճակատագիր եմ ընտրում ինքս ինձ համար: Մի քիչ չափից ավելին չե՞ք վերցրել ձեր վրա: Եվ եթե մարդկանց մի խումբ չի ողջունում հարթակում գտնվող ընդդիմության և իշխանության արտաքին քաղաքական սիմֆոնիան՝ ո՞վ իրավունք ունի վիրավորական արտահայտություն հնչեցնելու նրանց հասցեին: Այդ մարդիկ Հայաստանի հասարակության մի մասն են և նույնքան հավասար իրավունքներ ունեն ընդդեմ ՄՄ անդամակցության արտահայտվելու, որքան ես՝ այդ միության կազմ մտնելուն ըմբռնումով մոտենալու...
Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանությունը դեռ Քոչարյանի «Գույք պարտքի դիմաց» խայտառակ գործարքով դարձավ մանրադրամ՝ «մեծ ախպերների» հետ լեգիտիմության համար սակարկելիս: Այսօր մանրադրամ դարձավ ՀՀ քաղաքացու սահմանադրական իրավունքը՝ ընտրելու իր կացութաձևը:
Փաստորեն, մենք հնարավորություն չունեինք խաղալու ո՛չ «և-և», ո՛չ էլ «կամ-կամ»: Գործընթացը ընթացավ դասական հայկական ժողովրդավարության ձևով՝ մեր փոխարեն արդեն քվեարկել էին...
Եվ, ցավոք, ընդվզման թույլ փորձերն անգամ, որոնք մեր երկրի կենսունակության և քաղաքական համակարգի բալանսի համար օդ ու ջրի նման անհրաժեշտ են, հավասարապես ճնշվում են թե ընդդիմադիր համարվող ճամբարի, թե իշխանությունների կողմից...
Ավելին, Հայաստանի քաղաքական ապագան ղասաբի հոգեբանությամբ մասնատած և վաճառքի դրած ուժերը այսօր ընդդիմության դաշնակիցներն են, և նրանց իրականացրած հակապետական գործարքները փորձում են սրբագրել՝ փորձելով բոլորին կերակրելով իշխանությունների հետ միասին եփված շիլայով և զգուշավոր, թույլիկ, վախկոտ հակաիշխանական լոզունգներ բարձրաձայնելով...
