Եթե ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ ընտրված Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմը չհետեւի «միասնական Չինաստանի» քաղաքականությանը եւ հարաբերություններ զարգացնի Թայվանի հետ, ՉԺՀ-ն կարող Է զենք վաճառել Միացյալ Նահանգների հակառակորդներին: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասված Է The Global Times չինական անգլալեզու թերթում դեկտեմբերի 12-ին հրապարակված հոդվածում:

«Թրամփը պարզամտորեն ենթադրում Է, որ կարող Է «միասնական Չինաստանի» քաղաքականությունը որպես հաղթաթուղթ օգտագործել Չինաստանից տնտեսական օգուտներ կորզելու համար»,-ասված Է հրապարակման մեջ: Ինչպես նշում Է հրատարակությունը, եթե Վաշինգտոնն սկսի զենք վաճառել Թայվանին, Պեկինը ոչ մի հիմք չի ունենա նրան համարելու իր գործընկերը: «Ի պատասխան Թրամփի սադրանքների, Պեկինը կարող Է աջակցություն եւ նույնիսկ ռազմական օգնություն առաջարկել ԱՄՆ-ի նկատմամբ թշնամական ուժերին»,-նախազգուշացնում են հոդվածի հեղինակները:

Թայվանի իշխանությունները, ինչպես նշում Է The Global Times-ը, կարող են ափսոսալ, որ «Թրամփին իրենց արմատական քաղաքականության կատարողն են դարձրել»: Միեւնույն ժամանակ ԱՄՆ-ի ընտրված նախագահն ինքը կարող Է սխալներ կատարել դիվանագիտական փորձի պակասի պատճառով, գրում Է հրատարակությունը: «Նա չի հասկանում՝ որքան վտանգավոր Է ԱՄՆ-ին ներքաշել նման պայթյունավտանգ խաղի մեջ»,-հավելել Է թերթը:

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ-ի ընտրված նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Fox հեռուստաալիքի եթերում կարծիք Է հայտնել, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները պարտավոր չԷ հետեւել «միասնական Չինաստանի» քաղաքականությանը, որի համաձայն Թայվանը համարվում Է ՉԺՀ-ի բաղկացուցիչ մասը: «Ես լավ եմ հասկանում «մեկ Չինաստանի» քաղաքականությունը, բայց չեմ հասկանում, թե մենք ինչու պետք Է հետեւենք դրան, եթե Չինաստանի հետ համաձայնության չենք գալիս այլ հարցերի, ներառյալ առեւտրի շուրջը»,- նրա խոսքը մեջբերում Է Reuters-ը:    

Բացի դրանից, Թրամփը կրկին Չինաստանին քննադատել Է նրա արժութային քաղաքականության, Հարավչինական ծովում գործունեության եւ Հյուսիսային Կորեայի նկատմամբ դիրքորոշման  համար:

Մեկնաբանելով Թայվանի ղեկավար Ցայ Ինվենի հետ կայացած հեռախոսազրույցը՝ ԱՄՆ-ի ընտրված նախագահը նշել Է, որ Պեկինը չպետք Է որոշի, թե ինքն ում հետ շփվի:
