39-ամյա Ջո Թոմպսոնը որոշեց տնային պայմաններում ներկել մազերը և այդ նպատակով գնեց «Schwarzkopf XXL Live» մազի ներկ։ Կինը զգուշավորություն հանդես բերեց և հետևելով ցուցումներին՝ փորձարկեց ներկը՝ համոզվելու համար, թե արդյոք ներկը մաշկի ալերգիկ ռեակցիա կառաջացնի։ Փորձարկումից հետո ալերգիկ ռեակցիա չառաջացավ, սակայն երբ կինը գլխին քսեց ներկը, նա սկսեց գլխամաշկի սուր այրոց զգալ։ Հարցը հավանաբար ներկի քանակությունն էր։ Նա արագորեն լվաց գլուխը, սակայն այրոցը չէր անցնում։ Ջո Թոմպսոնը նախքան ալերգիկ ռեակցիան
